Hi, I installed the Advanced Custom Fields but they are not showing in “Add Product” Section of the vendor Dashboard.

I reviewed your documentation and stands that you just need to install the plugin.

I would like to know how to proceed.

      Best regards

      Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
After installing the plugin, follow the instructions below to add a custom field in vendor dashboard-
1.Go to “Add New” under “Custom Fields” in admin dashboard.
      2. Then add a title and click on Add a field’ and fill up the required fields.
      3. Now scroll to Location section and select “Products” from the drop down if you want to see the custom field in product page of vendor dashboard (see screenshot- https://prnt.sc/25lcp9h )
      4. Click on publish.
      5. Now go to add new product page in vendor dashboard and scroll down. Over there you’ll get the custom field created by admin.

      Hello,
I’m here with the same issue – I’m sure my new ACF group with a text-area field is located on Products (in fact I see the new field in normal WordPress editor), but still doesn’t show in the vendor dashboard.

Is it possible to fix it on the spot, somehow?

    • #133593

      Hi @gisella,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
In order to display the custom field in vendor dashboard, you have to add a new custom field in admin dashboard first. Now follow the steps below-
After installing the plugin, follow the instructions to add a custom field in vendor dashboard-
1.Go to “Add New” under “Custom Fields” in admin dashboard.
      2. Then add a title and click on Add a field’ and fill up the required fields.
      3. Now scroll to the Location section and select “Products” from the drop-down if you want to see the custom field in the product page of vendor dashboard (see screenshot- https://prnt.sc/25lcp9h )
      4. Click on publish.
      5. Now go to add new product page in vendor dashboard and scroll down. Over there you’ll get the custom field created by admin.
For further information refer to this documentation https://multivendorx.com/knowledgebase/advance-custom-fields/

      Hi,
We tried to recreate this on your end by disabling all other plugins except for WCMp, Woocommerce and ACF but didn’t face any such issues.
Here is the video showing ACF fields in vendor’s dashboard product page- https://www.loom.com/share/430be25931a140cab51c196343d49dc6

      Hello Tithi,
I went on further with the investigation and I found out that custom fields in vendor dashboard disappear when I activate another plugin of WC Marketplace series, that is the Membership one.
Now, my client needs to use both memberships and custom fields in dashboard. Can you take action on this issue or advise about how to do? Thanks!

    • #133935

      @gisella, not an issue.

Can you please share a screenshot of the custom fields you are referring to so we can assist you accordingly?

Sure!! Attached you find a screenshot of my products in the vendor dashboard, with ACF fields I need to visualise highlighted.
The screenshot has been taken with theme and all plugins activated:

        – including WCMp Advanced Frontend Manager
        – excluding WCMp Vendor Membership (https://multivendorx.com/product/wcmp-vendor-membership/).

As soon as I try to activate WCMp Vendor Membership, those fields in vendor dashboard all disappear (not disappearing from normal WordPress admin, though).

Our team is looking into it.
      Kindly provide us some time.

    • #134065

Gisella, you need to select the addon allowed for each membership plan https://watch.screencastify.com/v/SXPdptF18Y2fYjPI6HGL

        Hello,
I just tried to do the suggested action. To be sure that there are not conflicts, I de-activated all plugins and themes that are not related to my issue. Unfortunately nothing is selectable in the WCMp addons box into Membership products (screenshot attached), so actually this doesn’t fix my problem.

Eventually your staff can access to my staging area anytime, using credentials I left in the private reply no. #133823 of this thread, and try directly.

Just to remind the issue: if I activate WCMp Membership plugin, on the vendor dashboard (using Advanced Frontend Manager) I don’t see ACF custom fields anymore. But if I deactivate WCMp Membership I see them. I urgently need to use all the mentioned plugins having Membership active and custom fields on vendor dashboards (using Advanced Frontend Manager).

        Looking to have a follow-up!

        Thanks!!

    • #134136

@gisella, not to woorry. We will inspect the issue in your site.

Can you please create a staging site and share a temporary admin, vendor and FTP access.
While sharing the access, don’t forget to mark the response as private.

Hello, I sent staging access as private reply but I don’t see it on my side – maybe you see? Do you have everything needed?
        Thanks!

    • #134202

@gisella, can you please configure the ACF plugins, because we are not able to see the issue on your end.

      • #134204

Yes, the issue in the staging was not visible right now. Now I logged as admin and I activated the only plugin that was not active – WCMp Vendor Membership (https://multivendorx.com/product/wcmp-vendor-membership/).

Now, if you log as vendor you won’t see the ACF Fields anymore while trying to update a product.

        So…
        1) bug not happening if plugin WCMp Vendor Membership is OFF – I see ACF fields in vendor dashboard
        2) bug happening if plugin WCMp Vendor Membership is ON – I don’t see ACF fields in vendor dashboard

ACF is always set the same.

Can you take one more look at this?
        Thanks.

One more note. If I log as admin and I try to edit a WCMp Membership product, in the field “WCMp Addons” I’m not able to select anything… just nothing loads.

    • #134266

Gisella, it seems like ACF was not supported via membership.

We have added that now as you can see in the video it is working fine https://watch.screencastify.com/v/NbAB8qdeefwY8ifPdFDi

Hello, the video link looks broken. I checked but I still don’t see those ACF, when Membership plugin active e its license active… is there any more action to be taken? Thanks!

Hello and thanks for assistance! I tested the fixed plugin and most of the problem looks solved 🙂 ACF are there on “edit” product. But still don’t appear on “new” products. Screencast attached:

Is it possible to do something about it?
        Thanks!

    • #134376

Hi gisella, it seems like ACF Issue.

I tried the flow from admin end, it seems like the fields are not there for new products from their end also : https://watch.screencastify.com/v/706KBVyVbQQGxgQszYpX
