The commission seems not working around with my settings. My settings are:

1) I’ve set the global commission in mvx settings as shown in

3) Product-wise commission is unset at 0 as shown in

The product costs $1500, with the settings set above, it should be calculated by using the category-wise commission, which supposedly should result in $752 [($1500 x 50% = $750) + $2]. However, it was showing $1485 instead.

As per the commission hierarchy of MultiVendorX if you set product wise commission that will override all other categories . But now in this case as product wise commission is not set hence category wise commission will get the priority and commission generated will be calculated based on that .
As you can see the flow is working fine on our end there might be some with your settings . Kindly check that carefully . If you still face issue please create a staging site and share the site url , admin access with us so that we can help you accordingly .

I’m still facing this issue on commission. I can’t create a staging site right now as my hosting provider doesn’t have this feature yet, but it looks like they will be rolling out the staging features next week. Is there any other way for you guys to help me accordingly? Else, sadly I might need to wait until next week.

As this is a commission-related issue, can you share the temporary admin access to your site? We will just place a demo order and recheck all the settings.

The commission is getting calculated on the 50% commission set for the category .As category wise commission will be prioritized between global commission and category wise commission

Can you please check the settings again?

Hi,
I’ve checked the settings again and placed quite a few test orders but it all failed until I tried to observe the difference between the vendors. The test vendor that you guys created doesn’t assign to a membership plan whereas the vendor that I’m testing is assigned to a membership plan, and I think I’ve found the cause of this issue, hopefully. The culprit is the commission settings in the marketplace membership. The commission type in the marketplace membership (products in mvx subscription) must be chosen and the amount I left it empty (not sure if admin must set it or not). Once set, the commission is following the category levels rules for overriding.

The admin must set commission for their vendors in their membership package https://prnt.sc/FQSnzwkx4yKs . Once a vendor comes under a membership package then the commission for those vendors will get calculated on the commission set by the admin in the membership package .
