We’re using WCMp Advanced Vendor Report for vendor and admin earnings. On WCMP Settings -> Payment: Commission type percentage, mode admin fees.

On page wp-admin/admin.php?page=reports&tab=vendor admin and vendor earnings are switched (green and yellow colors) can you replace it?
In WCMp Advanced Vendor Report csv export earnings columns are ok.

Is there an option not to add shipping cost to gross sale, admin nor vendor?

Also how to disable (not adding) shipping cost in column Earnings on vendor dashboard /dashboard/vendor-orders/ ?

The whole point is that we’re not using shipping cost in business model (for sale, commission, earnings). It’s ok to show shipping cost on checkout page, notification emails, order details page on my account page and vendor dashboard.

      Hello,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Regarding the issue in WCmp vendor report on admin dashboard, we have found the issue of color (green and yellow colors) and you can track it from here https://github.com/wcmarketplace/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/issues/675

Regarding the shipping cost addition, can you please explain the issue further in details so that we can recreate it at our end and guide you accordingly.

      Hello,

      Thank you for response.

I saw your video example, how much is the shipping for this order?

Our business model doesn’t include shipping cost so can you calculate and show on the WCmp and Vendor dashboard: Gross sale, Admin earning and Vendor earning without shipping cost?

Every vendor can add (on Vendor dashboard) shipping model and price, organize delivery to the customer. We (admin) are not interested in shipping and want export table without shipping cost.

    • #116030

We are testing it at our end and we will update you by Monday. Due to weekend the team will be away.

      Thank you for response.

I also found that columns Vendor Commission and Admin Net Earning are switched on WCMp -> Reports -> Sales Distribution Export to CSV.

    • #116114

Kindly check from vendor dashboard >> payment >> withdrawal the shippings charges , tax and the actual commission are shown separately as you can see here https://prnt.sc/103r8kl
On advanced report, the tax amount, shipping rate and actual commission are shown separately in the CSV file as you can see here https://prnt.sc/103rb5y

Regarding the last part, can you please explain the issue with the help of some screenshot so that we can guide you more efficiently.

For testing is better to choose Vendor/Admin distribution 20% – 80% not 50% – 50%. I think that you found on your second screenshot the same problem ‘Regarding the issue in WCmp vendor report on admin dashboard, we have found the issue of color (green and yellow colors)’.

Where did you get the second screenshot? This is not the same as us on WCMp -> Reports -> Sales Distribution Export to CSV. Please look at attached image.

I don’t understand how Vendor can earn 50 (column Vendor net Earning) from the column Shipping Amounts on your screenshot?
Shipping cost is not Vendor and Admin earning.

    • #116213

Let me help you with further information, it depends on the admin to whom you want to send the shipping cost which can be set from admin dashboard >> WCMp >> settings >> payment as you can here (https://prnt.sc/104pza5)

      Thank you for response.

The checked options on your screenshot are delegating tax and shipping settings to vendor (without it vendor can’t set shipping type, shipping cost etc.). Our vendors set shipping price but this is not their earnings, this amount of money is used for delivery service.

How to allow vendor to set shipping but not to calculate shipping cost on earnings?

Also, I asked in previous post, where did you get the second screenshot? This is not the same as us on WCMp -> Reports -> Sales Distribution Export to CSV.

As been mentioned in our previous message, the colour issue has been already filed at our end and our team is working on it.

Regarding the screenshot which you are referring to, this is the advanced report downloaded from vendor dashboard.

Regarding the shipping amount, I have set the shipping cost amount as 50 as you can see here https://prnt.sc/105gwg1.
As mentioned earlier, it depends on your settings, for my case I have set the shipping amount to go to the vendor so the vendor is receiving that amount. You can set it as you want from admin dashboard >> WCMp >> settings >> payment as you can here (https://prnt.sc/104pza5)

    • #116333

Thank you for answers. I didn’t try to export from the vendor dashboard.

I understood how you setup shipping and transfer shipping cost to vendor. How can vendor set the shipping method and cost on the vendor dashboard without adding shipping cost to their earnings?

If you uncheck ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ vendor can’t set shipping cost on vendor dashboard.
Shipping cost is usually delivery cost via courier service, shipping cost is not earning by vendor or admin.

    • #116483

When admin has given authority to vendor to add shipping cost by adding vendor shipping from admin dashboard as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/106ilmw)
then only Vendors can add shipping cost from vendor dashboard as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/106imm6)

Now if you uncheck ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ then that amount will be going to the admin and will not be calculated on the vendor dashboard.
The ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ option has no relation with vendors being able to set shipping charges.

Now as per WCMp default flow the shipping cost either goes to vendor or admin and there is no courier service included in our service.

Post this, how the courier service will be handled by the admin or vendor is not a part of our system.

    • #116513

Thank you for the detailed explanation.

Maybe something doesn’t work but the option ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ option has relation with vendors being able to set shipping charges even we have checked Enable vendor shipping option on WCMP Settings -> General.

Please look at screenshots, when we disable it, on vendor dashboar -> vendor-shipping show ‘Sorry you are not authorized for this pages. Please contact with admin.’

If these 2 things are not connected as you wrote, that will solve the problem and shipping cost will not be added to admin or vendor. Of course, courier service is external and this is the reason why we don’t want to add shipping cost to admin or vendor.

    • #116589

      Apologize for the confusion caused.

When the ‘transfer shipping changes to vendor’ check box is disabled then the vendor will not be able to set shipping charges from the vendor dashboard. In that case the shipping charges will be received by the admin as per our default flow.

Now if you want to change this default flow then kindly provide us a detailed flow how you want it to be distributed and our team will guide you accordingly.

I agreed with your previous post that the option ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ is not for giving authority to vendor to add shipping cost. There is the option for this in WCMp -> Settings -> General
‘Enable Vendor Shipping If enabled vendor can configure their shipping on dashboard.’
      Please look at attached image.

Why did you mix these two options?

Problem can be solved by enabling ‘Enable Vendor Shipping’ and disabling ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ and don’t calculate shipping costs to vendor earning or admin earning.

Since these options already exist, please make difference between who can set something and who can earn money on shipping cost. As you wrote, courier is for shipping and this is an external thing.

Also, @Raju can explain what discussed with team and what is the difference between options in the screenshots?

      One more time:
The option ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ is not for giving authority to vendor to add shipping cost. There is the option for this in WCMp -> Settings -> General
‘Enable Vendor Shipping If enabled vendor can configure their shipping on dashboard.’

    • #120662

@Ivan Gacesa, the vendor can earn money from shipping if the shipping rate is configured by them only.
Now, if the admin is configuring shipping rates, then woocomerce will calculate the shipping as a whole not shipping by vendor.

That is why, if only vendor will get money from shipping, then only they can configure the shipping.

    • #120669

      Hi @Moumita,

      There is 2 options:
      1. WCMp -> Settings -> General – ‘Enable Vendor Shipping If enabled vendor can configure their shipping on dashboard.’ and
      2. ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’

What is the difference between them (why did you mix these options)?

Who can configure shipping cost isn’t related to earning money as we’ve written in this thread for last 2 months. Every vendor can configure shipping cost, courier services earn money – shipping costs.

Why did you configure that vendor or admin earn money, not external service (not add shipping cost to vendor or admin earning)?

Problem is in reports and on vendor dashboard because customers pay delivery costs to courier service on delivery (as you’ve written courier is not a part of wcmp and our platform).

    • #120835

Ivan Gacesa, I understand your end.

But, it may happen for some site, who wants the vendor to configure the shipping but the admin will earn the money. That is why we have to add these two options.

We will also communicate with our users, if needed we will remove the shipping option and add a filter there.

      Hi @Moumita,

We also want possibility for vendor to configure the shipping.

If we uncheck ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.’ shipping become admin earning.

There is no way to exclude shipping cost from the percentage earning model (Commission Value)?

    • #121022

Ivan, can you please explain a bit more what shipping calculation type are you looking for (i.e. There is no way to exclude shipping cost from the percentage earning model), so we can help you out better. I am sorry, but we just need a bit more information on what flow are you looking for.

Please note, WCMp calculates commission on product price only. We simply add shipping with the commission earned on the product.

      Hi Moumita,

How can we show only commission on product price on vendor dashboard – orders and banking overview (without adding shipping cost)?

Banking overview for vendors would be just commission on product price.

      Thank you

    • #121552

@Ivan Gacesa, we always calculate commission on the product price only.
Now, if “Shipping” is enabled via WCMp >> Settings >> Payment, then only we will add the shipping amount with the commission.

As you don’t need this, just disable the “Shipping” option: http://scrgrb.in/ud6

Maybe it would be clearer with one more screenshot.

When we changed on admin panel admin.php?page=wcmp-setting-admin&tab=payment the option – uncheck – Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor, the shipping earning cost will transfer to admin. How to disable adding shipping cost to vendor earning or admin earning?

You can also see in the screenshot that both orders have Shipping cost, it displayed on the second row, not on the first, why?
(the same orders are on the screenshots in the previous post).

    • #121614

@Ivan Gacesa, If you disable “Shipping” from WCMp >> Settings, then shipping will be deducted from Vendor’s earning.
Now, if you also want to remove shipping from admin’s earning, then you have to edit the code a bit more. Do you have the code which is displaying the admin’s earning in the commission page, so we can help you out as per that.

    • #121631
      ig
      Participant

@Moumita the last screenshot with 2 orders shows the problem in the first row. Shipping cost 0, even shipping is set for this order to 1000?
Maybe this is the issue with plugin WCMp advanced vendor report.

I think that we understand each other, I disabled (uncheck) Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor, how to remove shipping in report from admin’s earning as you described in the last post? Now, vendor earning is ok, commission without shipping cost.

I don’t understand your last sentence ‘Do you have the code which is displaying the admin’s earning in the commission page, so we can help you out as per that.’ How to remove shipping cost from admin earning?

    • #121674

@Ivan, just to be sure, you want to exclude shipping from admin’s earning, if though the order has shipping cost with it.

Regarding this ” ‘Do you have the code which is displaying the admin’s earning in the commission page, so we can help you out as per that.’ How to remove the shipping cost from admin earning?”, I am sorry for the confusion.

As this part comes from our Advance Report plugin, our team will check whether there is any filter for us to modify this.

We are waiting for your confirmation on the flow.

      Thank you @Moumita,

Just to confirm, vendor commission and vendor earning are ok after I disabled (uncheck) the option: Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor.

With this disabled checkbox we lost information about shipping cost (amounts) on pages:
      – CSV export on vendor dashboard – /dashboard/vendor-report/
      – CSV export on vendor dashboard – /advanced-report/#wcmp_report_overview
On other vendor dashboard pages as orders pages everything is ok.
      – admin panel -> WCMp Reports -> Sales distribution – /admin.php?page=reports&tab=tax_by_vendor – Shipping cost 0, even shipping is set for this order to 1000 (last screenshot)

      > @Ivan, just to be sure, you want to exclude shipping from admin’s earning, if though the order has shipping cost with it.

Yes, we want to exclude shipping cost from admin earning and to leave shipping cost on orders pages, email notification etc.

    • #121781

@Ivan Gacesa, if you disable the “shipping” option, then we will not display any shipping related data to the vendor i.e. it will be removed from reports too.
Becasue if you do add shipping in the report, although the vendor didn’t receive that money, it will be a huge error.

The same concept goes for WCMp >> Report >> Sales Distribution
This shows how much the vendor has earned and whether the vendor has earned tax or shipping.

However, we did find an issue with the order total displayed there. It is not adding the tax and shipping of that order. We will fix that in our next update.

Now, please do share a screenshot explaining where you want to exclude shipping from admin’s earning, so we can help you out accordingly.

      Hi @Moumita,

You can see on the screenshots our payment model. We charge 15% of the transaction value as our admin fees. 85% is vendor earning. What is the difference between Vendor Commission and Vendor Net Earning?
Maybe our settings is not ok.

For the order on the screenshot shipping is set to 1000, but in the report this is 0, why?

    • #121853

Ivan, vendors net earning refers to the commission earned on the product + Shipping + Tax.

For your site, this is the calculation :
      Order total = 1000
      Vendor Commission = 150
Shipping is not given to the vendor i.e. shipping = 0

      Admin’s Net earning 1000 – 150 = 850

      Thank you Moumita,

If we compare your last and previous post this is not an issue?
      > However, we did find an issue with the order total displayed there. It is not adding the tax and shipping of that order. We will fix that in our next update.

According to your explanation, I tested all payment options in WCMp settings. Our business model is different, our customers pay directly to the vendors and vendors pay to us (admin website) their commission as website service. You model is that customers pay to website (admin) and website admin pay vendor commissions to the vendor?

We can set our model if we will have option (checkbox) for admin as we have for vendors
      – ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the vendor,’ like
      – ‘Transfer shipping charges collected (per product) to the admin.
With this option we can set the difference between admin and vendor earnings and shipping cost.

If it is complicate to add this checkbox (on WCMp payment settings page) we can make this calculation in the excel after WCMp advanced report export?

Please, confirm that I understand all payment options, so we can’t apply our business model in WCMp payment settings.

    • #121884

Ivan Gacesa, I am sorry but there is one thing we need help with :

As you said, in your site customer pays the vendor. DO they pay the whole money or just the vendor part.

Now, if they pay the whole money, admin’s net earning should be (Product Price + tax + Shipping – Vendor’s commission)
In that case, once we will fix this issue (i.e. we did find an issue with the order total displayed there. It is not adding the tax and shipping of that order. We will fix that in our next update.), then there should not be any issue on your end.

    • #121891

      Hi Moumita,

Customer pays to vendor total product price and shipping to courier service on delivery (product is delivered directly from vendor to customer, our site is only marketplace without stock).

In our case, admin’s net earning is vendor commission – this amount of money vendor need to pay us on complete order – 15% (this is inverted model than yours) We can change the name/translation for this (commission, earnings) but I think that for our business model we need checkbox to disable adding shipping to admin’s earning or to use excel after export.

Order total (product price + tax + shipping) is shown on vendor orders page, checkout, customer and vendor email and everything is ok (I think).

      Regards

    • #121948

@Ivan Gacesa, thanks for the explanation, it clears our confusion. As your business model, is different, hence we will provide you a code that will remove the shipping cost from the admin’s net earning under the Sales Overview section.

Our team will give you the code by tommorow.

              $commission_refunded_total = get_post_meta( $commission_id, '_commission_refunded', true );
              $vendor_net_earning = floatval($total_commission) + floatval($commission_refunded_total);
              $admin_net_earning = ( ($order->get_total() - $vendor_net_earning) -  $shipping_amount );
          }
          $data['admin_earning'] = wc_price( $admin_net_earning );

      Moumita,

Thank you for the new version of the plugin. Now, columns in the WCMp-> Reports -> Sales Distribution report: Admin Net Earning and Shipping are ok!

Please, check WCMp -> Reports -> Product: Sales and Earnings (wp-admin/admin.php?page=reports&tab=product) there is a difference for Vendor Earnings that is shown without Shipping cost. For us, this is fine, as we remove Shipping cost from Admin Earning do the same with Vendor Earning.

You can close this ticket because, the same we have on https://multivendorx.com/support-forum/topic/shipping-problem-on-checkout-page-with-wcmp-3-7-3-and-3-7-4/ so please restore the option in WCMp General Settings (as we have in 3.7.2) This is the great option!

      – Enable Vendor Shipping If enabled vendor can configure their shipping on dashboard.

and describe in detail (maybe in the manual) the differences between:
      – Vendor Earning
      – Admin Earning
      – Vendor Commission
      – Admin Commission
and why you mix Shipping cost with all of this in transactions and reports.

      Regards

Ivan, WCMp -> Reports -> Product, only gives you an idea about the product cost and how much admin, vendor earned from that.
So, both tax and shipping are excluded from there.

Vendor commission referred to as the amount vendor has earned from the product. The same for the admin commission too.
Whereas, Net Earning reffers to Vendor commission + tax (if applicable) + shipping (if applicable)

Moumita, thank you for the explanation.

You can close the ticket. There is a similar discussion about shipping and the new WCMp version https://multivendorx.com/support-forum/topic/shipping-problem-on-checkout-page-with-wcmp-3-7-3-and-3-7-4/
