Can a product be marked by Admin to have a priority within a category or subcategory?

For example: In Women’s Apparel if I would like to have 12 specific products showing on the first page of this category I could go into Admin and tick a priority box for each of those products and they would be moved to show on Page 1 of that subcategory?
