I’m trying to understand how WCMP is working during checkout on both the frontend and backend:

      1) When customers add carts to their products that are from multiple vendors — will the checkout page make them do
      a) a separate checkout/charge transaction/separate shipping for for each vendor
      b) one single charge for the whole order even with products from different vendors
      c) one single charge that automatically processes/separates charges from different vendors

      2) Is WCMP automatically configuring or integrating marketplace functionality in terms of how charges and payments work when we add our payment processing gateways such as Stripe, Paypal, etc?

I’ve made a separate topic about this as I’m having difficulties configuring Stripe payments for vendors and configuring settings to reflect a marketplace setting/functionality for processing and separating char. So far it’s been extremely confusing — and I can’t find any clarity with WCMP on how the checkout process and payment processing is working with WCMP.

      Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

      Your answers are inline

      1) When customers add carts to their products that are from multiple vendors — will the checkout page make them do
      a) a separate checkout/charge transaction/separate shipping for for each vendor

      >> At present WCMp has a single checkout page where single payment needs to be done. Now if you want to change this flow then you have to do custom coding at your end.
      b) one single charge for the whole order even with products from different vendors

      >> Yes

      c) one single charge that automatically processes/separates charges from different vendors
      >> For real time disbursement, you have to buy and install WCMp stripe marketplace addon plugin (https://multivendorx.com/product/wcmp-stripe-marketplace/)

      2) Is WCMP automatically configuring or integrating marketplace functionality in terms of how charges and payments work when we add our payment processing gateways such as Stripe, Paypal, etc?

      >>
For customer to admin customers can pay through any WooCommerce supported payment gateways.

Now, Admin can pay commission to his vendors automatically using all the gateways that are supported by WCMp (Paypal Masspay, Paypal payout, Stripe connect, Mangopay connect etc) and depending on the disbursal scheduled the vendor will get his commission.
Now, for real time commission disbursement flow i.e as soon as the customer pays for the product the commiss
ion gets divided among vendors and admin can be achieved by our WCMp Stripe plugin and WCMp Mangopay Marketplace plugins. For Stripe they will get their part directly, for mangopay the money passed via admin.

According to your requirement, you want to add different payment gateways for different vendors.
To set this settings go to admin dashboard >> WCMp >> Vendors >> Payment >> Payment methods as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/uzsf7o).

You can also refer to our knowledge base document (https://multivendorx.com/knowledgebase/payment/) which might help you further.
