Hello
I have several important questions:
1. How can I prevent a vendor from editing a product name?
If the item already exists and is
It has been noticed that if the vendor changes the name from “Cashmere Sweater” to “Cashmere Green Sweater”, then the product link also changes. The word “green” is added to the link.
If I can put down a 301 redirect from the admin panel and the Yoast plugin solves this – it offers me to do a redirect when editing a product link – then this function does not work in the vendor’s dashboard.
I need the vendor to be able to change the price, meta values, attributes, everything related to the description and information about the product. But in no case do not change the title and do not change the url of the previous product.
2. How to prevent a vendor from deleting products?
I need them not to delete the goods, but to put 0 in stock on it. Thus, the product cannot be bought, but the traffic to it is still preserved. And only after a few months I can remove it from the site, having previously made a redirect to another product. Please help me.
I have attached my settings for you.

@l.gan, both of the flow you are looking for requires good amount of custom code. If we can share you the hook/filter, can you develop these flows for your sites?

Moumita hello, thanks for the reply.
I’m not a developer, unfortunately. I can only write “primitive code”. But please share hooks, because I will search for a solution in search and forums…
On the account of deleting a product – is it possible to hide the button to delete the css or php codec from the dashboard panel? In any case – please give the hooks you were talking about…
Maybe I could give instructions for filling and create a trigger, for example – if the product is out of stock for more than 60 days – then it can be moved to the basket from the admin panel … I think that would be the ideal solution.Regarding the prohibition to edit the url of the product and the name – please give a hook. I will look for a solution
