Unable to assign a vendor to a product after update

      Hello wcmp Team,
      After updating wcmp to 3.8.12, i am no longer able to assign a vendor to a product. When typing the name of a vendor in choose vendor, it stuck on “looking for” and never show any.

      The issue got marked as Fixed, but even after i updated the commission.js and commission.min.js files (supposed to fix that) the problem still here, unable to select a vendor.

      Any update on this I am also facing the same issue. I duplicated a product listing and everything duplicated expect the vendor, And when I attempt to assign a vendor nothing is showing in the list which suppose to show the vendors list.

      we have also added a fix in our GitHub.
      So, after downloading the plugin from here – https://github.com/wcmarketplace/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/archive/refs/heads/master.zip, follow these steps :
      – Delete the installed WC Marketplace via wp-admin >> plugin
      – Unzip the GitHub plugin
      – Rename the folder as “dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor” and remove the master tag. Now, zip this folder again.
      – Install this plugin on your site.
      Please do keep us posted.

      We will add the same fix in our next update.

      @Bruk Abay, you needed to delete the existing Multivendor Marketplace Solution for WooCommerce – WC Marketplace https://prnt.sc/WO9f4S03c1cT
      Then follow this method :
      – Download the plugin from here – https://github.com/wcmarketplace/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/archive/refs/heads/master.zip, follow these steps :
      – Unzip the GitHub plugin
      – Rename the folder as “dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor” and remove the master tag. Now, zip this folder again.
      – Install this plugin on your site.

      If you search vendor by the name Habesha, then you can see the vendor https://watch.screencastify.com/v/CwxrKeORZh5GK7oCcIsF

      Regarding the speed issue, as you can see we don’t have any such issue on our end : https://watch.screencastify.com/v/Iks0vLbP4TLIB4GyTN7A

      So it might be some plugin/theme issue that is causing this on your site.

      Hi,

      Please look at the 1st screenshot below.. “brukabay” is the username and the nick name is “habesha market”. both are not surfacing on the search. Please see screenshot #2 which states as it says searching then screenshot #3 says… no search match for ‘brukabay”. Even as you and I have seen “brukabay” listed a vendor.

      @Bruk Abay, this issue is occurring, when two vendors are having the same first name. I have created a git issue https://github.com/multivendorx/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/issues/1107

      Hello, how long does it take to get it fixed? I tracked the link and also posted two comment on the git issue however it does not appear that it is being monitored as no replied back. It has been over a month since I have had this issue.

      @Bruk Abay, sorry for the delay. But when our developer tried to recreate this, it is working fine on their end.

      So, in order to debug this for your site, the team will require to have a staging site. Can you please ask your server admin to create a staging site and share the admin, FTP access.

      @Bruk Abay, the issue was related to data save. Basically, the store name was not saved properly, so we just saved them again.

      @Bruk Abay, as I can see you are using older version of WooCommerce again. Last time we have updated WooCommerce and saved the vendor data.

      So, please follow the same procedure again.

      Hi, you have not showed me that it has ever worked even after the updates please refer back to the screenshots I have sent in the previous thread above. You recorded that shows vendor assigns to Habesha Ethiopia but never shows “Habesha Market” when searched.

      You have all my login information and I have been waiting kindly on this issue to get rectified. I would like to escalate this to higher level support.

      I even asked for a zoom meeting to once and for all solve this issue but all I’m getting is what appears to be a buying of time. I have been waiting kindly I am getting frustrated at this point. If you can get a Manager involved that would be greatly appreciated at this time.
