      Hello,

I was hoping that you could help with a couple of issues we are having with our platform

      1. We are unable to update the vendor profile information from the frond end manager screen. it gives the massage in the file attached.

      2. the social media links seem to not be required, however when I try to save the vendor profile information without filling those fields out it does not let me go through and gives me the message in the second file attached.

      >> We don’t have such issue on our end. Just to be sure, disable all the plugins except WooCommerce and MultiVendorX and check again.
If the issue still exists, please switch to some default theme such as Twenty Sixteen and check again.
Please do keep us posted so we can help you out.

      2. We can definitely try that, I’d just like to ask about these two plugins of yours we also have installed in our site. WC Catalog Enquiry, Woocommerce Catalog Enquiry Pro and Advanced Frontend Manager. Do I have to disable these too? I am asking because I believe that the vendor profile screen uses the plugin “Advanced Frontend Manager”. right?

      Hi

      1. Actually, I have also tried using different names and I’d get the same error every time.

2.I will get those credentials for you asap. And what I was asking is, do i have to disable the three plugins i mentioned before (WC Catalog Enquiry, Woocommerce Catalog Enquiry Pro and Advanced Frontend Manager.)? since you instructed me to disable all plugins and see if i continue to get the same error.

Hello Moumita can we hold on the other issues above? we think we might have discovered what is causing all of the issues above.

        ———————————————————–

We were hoping you could help us with an issue we are experiencing related to some vendor users.
We found out that for some of our vendor users the products are not being displayed in the screen “all products” under this path /dashboard/products/

Most of these vendor users were imported using a plugin called “All import All export”, at first we thought the issue might be related to how this plugin imports all the information into WP, but our team discovered an issue related to the “WCMp multivendor” plugin.

It looks like the plugin is applying a taxonomy filter in the following file: /home/buyfromcostarica/public_html/wp-content/plugins/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/classes/class-wcmp-vendor-details.php In the lines 371 and 377 where the variable “$WCMp->taxonomy->taxonomy_name” has an undefined value which leads to having a filter that does comply with the logic. when we disabled that part of the code, the products that were not showing are shown again.

Do you know if commenting this part of the code would cause further issues? If so, what other approach would you recommend us to take?

@Sergio Arguedas, the reply was in spam.

Our team is looking into this.

    • #148048

      Sergio, thanks for the explanation.

Basically, WP All import and export is not compatible with MultivendorX/WCMp

That is why they don’t support assigning any vendor with a product.

Now, editing the core plugin code is never a solution, becasue it might affect any other flow of the plugin. So what you can do is, create your own custom code and assign a vendor with a product at the time of import.

      To get an idea regarding the coding flow, please check how we are assigning a vendor with a product when users are migrating from dokan/wcfm to MultiVendor. You can check this line in our code wp_update_term( $this->vendor->term_id, $WCMp->taxonomy->taxonomy_name, array(‘name’ => $storename) );

To get any professional help on this custom flow, you can also hire our service team from here: https://multivendorx.com/custom-development/
