Staff do not have permission to edit products.

      Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can give permission for the staff to edit publish products from vendor dashboard >> staff management >> add staff >> assign capabilities as you can see here https://prnt.sc/10fzttc

You can also refer to our knowledge base document (https://multivendorx.com/knowledgebase/wcmp-vendor-staff/) which will help you further.

I have given permissions to staff. It still tells the staff that they don’t have permission and to contact the site administrator.

also, I am not able to assign staff to the store if they already have an account. I need i staff member to manage multiple vendor stores. It forces me to delete the user to add them to any given store.

      Hello,

We have tested it at our end and it is working fine as you can see here (https://www.loom.com/share/42d0b06df33e4ca5887a528d52698820)

Regarding the other part, each vendor store should be a private store. Hence the staff, which belongs to a vendor, should not access the store of another vendor.

However if you want, you may add this modification by doing custom code.

I am using buddypress and have a community of users and some of the accounts are now vendors and they want to add their staff that have already been in our buddypress community for some time. The only way to add someone as a staff member at the moment is to delete their user account from my site and have the vender add new staff member. All the new staff member will lose all of there prior profile information, pictures, etc.

      Is there a work around?

For the other issue, the staff member are unable to edit products or ad products regardless of what the vendor checks while adding the staff member. Since i am using Buddypress and a few other plugins that modifies the WordPress Roles and Capabilities, could that be why the new staff members do not have permission?

      Hello,

We have come to know from our support chat team that the access shared above was of live site and we are extremely sorry that in order to meet our timeline we have not waited for the confirmation from you before deactivating theme and plugins on your site.

Having said that, we will request you to create a staging site and share with us an admin and vendor access(staging site) and FTP access where our team can debug the issue further to resolve it.

While sharing the access, please mark the reply as private.

You installed the new version of WCMP 3.7.0 when you were inside my site and it does not work with my theme so i had to install an earlier version, 3.6.0 and now it looks like it is pulling some sort of code from an updated file from 3.7.0.. every product page is broken now. What do i do?

      Hello,

      Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

However on your site, we have updated the WordPress to the latest version (5.7) and WCMp to version 3.7 on your site.

Now, the shop page / product page issue that you are facing might be due to the WordPress update which might be not compatible with your current theme. As the shop page and product page is managed by woocommerce and theme.

You can reach out to your website server team to get a website backup which might resolve the current issue.

Kindly reach out to us for any further assistance required. Our team is here to help you out.

Again, we are really sorry for this inconvenience.

Lastly, you may use plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/ to downgrade the WordPress version.
Please note, we haven’t tested this plugin on our end. So, please do the tests first in your staging site and then add the same in live site
