Thank you for your patience. After carefully reviewing the issue, we have identified the reason behind the item total mismatch error you are experiencing with PayPal.
The problem is caused by the WooCommerce setting “Round tax at subtotal level” being enabled. When this option is active, WooCommerce recalculates tax and item totals at the subtotal level instead of using the original per-line values. This creates a small rounding difference-in your case, a €0.01 discrepancy-which PayPal detects and rejects as an item_total mismatch.
We tested this directly on your setup, and once this setting was disabled, the item totals aligned correctly, and the PayPal error no longer occurred.
