ParticipantThere is a Courier Service we want to use: now, they don’t have a WordPress Woo Commerce plugin, but they said they will provide an API to help us hook checkout and Shipping to them, so that it is their Courier Service that all our Shipping will be routed to, and they will then handle the Shipping for us.
Normally, while using WCFM, it’s the Vendors that handle the Shipping themselves, so there’s been no requirement to hook anything like some special Courier Service to handle all Shipping on the platform.
Unfortunately, this MultiVendor MarketPlace I’m working on, is a side hustle for its owners: they have their 9 to 5 jobs, and just want to run this as a side hustle.
Thus there is no time for them to handle the Logistics, and they therefore need every Orders placed, to be routed to a Courier Company to do the deliveries for them.
As mentioned earlier, the Courier Service does not have a WordPress OR Woo Commerce plugin, but they said they will provide an API to help us hook checkout and Shipping to them, so that it is their Courier Service that all our Shipping will be routed to, and they will then handle the Shipping for us.
If they provide this API, how would we integrate it into MultiVendorX ?
Regards.

KeymasterHello, Thank you for reaching out and for providing all the details.
Regarding the integration with the courier service: since the service does not offer a ready-made WordPress or WooCommerce plugin but is willing to provide an API, you will need to implement a custom integration on your end to connect the checkout and shipping flow with their API.
While MultiVendorX doesn’t currently offer built-in support for this specific kind of logistics automation, our plugin is flexible enough to allow for such customizations. If you require assistance with implementing this integration, our service team would be happy to help. You can reach out to them here:https://multivendorx.com/custom-development/.
They can guide you further and assist with building a solution that ensures all orders are routed through the courier service as intended.
Let us know if you need any further assistance.
