Hi, I’m testing MultivendorX (free) and I’m very interested in the Pro version. However, there’s an issue I haven’t been able to resolve and it’s kind of a dealbreaker: I can’t save any plugin settings from my wp-admin dashboard, OR alternatively, perhaps the settings do get saved somewhere, but I can’t see the current setting in my dashboard. Clicking on a slider or entering a value in an input field results in a “Settings saved” notification, but as soon as the page is refreshed, all settings and inputs are back to their default position.

I have tested the following: (1) deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and MultivendorX, (2) the aforementioned plus activating the default WordPress Twenty TwentyFour theme, and (3) deactivating, deleting, and reinstalling MultivendorX. None of these have worked so far.

In my search for answers I came across a different plugin with which people experienced a similar issue (Woo Coupon Affiliates). That plugin had a work-around, by adding a button in its Settings menu that replaced the (in that plugin’s case AJAX) save function. That seemed to work for them.
Another solution that people came up with (for another plugin: Litespeed Cache) was deleting all database entries and tables that related to the plugin they had an issue with. I tried this as well, but to no avail.

The website runs on WordPress 6.6.1 (most up-to-date version currently) and uses the Shoppe theme by Themify (also up-to-date).
The server runs on PHP 8.1.27 and 64-bit Linux. Changes to the PHP version also haven’t changed the auto-save behavior.

I expect that you need a temporary Administrator account for the WordPress environment, as well as an FTP account to check things out. Both accounts are already set up. I just need a secure, private way of sharing the login details. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hello, Thank you for providing the access details.

Could you please confirm if we have your permission to deactivate the plugins and themes on your site to continue with the debugging process?

      Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, you have permission to deactivate plugins and themes on my website.

I just created a back-up of everything as well.

Hello @wanna, Thank you for your patience as we investigated the issue further. We’ve made some additional observations that might help resolve the problem you’re experiencing.
We’ve noticed that the settings are indeed being saved successfully. However, there seems to be a delay of 15-20 minutes in these changes reflecting on your site. This behavior suggests that there might be some caching mechanism at play, likely at the server level.
To address this, we recommend taking the following steps:

      — Please reach out to your server team or hosting provider.
–Ask them to clear the server-side cache for your website.

Once they are done kindly check whether the issue gets resolved on your end.
