Hello,

In the settings you can choose the transaction fee that is passed on to the seller, however it is a % and fixed amount.
The payment methods PayPal and Stripe do not have the same transaction fees, and even Stripe has several transaction fees depending on the customer’s card.

How do I deduct the actual transaction fees from the seller when using Stripe Marketplace / PayPal Split Payment?

MVX Support can confirm this, but I had to figure this out while I was testing. The payment gateway charge is actually part of the commission payout and not part of the payment by customer. So the gateway charge is not based on orders, but based on payout transactions. So I don’t know if you’ll be able to deduct the transaction fees on each purchase/order based on the customer’s card or anything else since it is only based on the payout transaction, not the purchase/order transaction. In the vendor’s dashboard, the gateway charge won’t show up under their orders. It only shows up under commission transactions.

We do not charge payment gateway based on orders but by fixing an amount to get a commission for the payouts . So there is no way of deducting the actual transaction fees from the seller when using Stripe Marketplace / PayPal Split Payment

Otherwise, can I set different transaction fees for different payment methods?

For example 2,9% + 0,25€ for Stripe
And 3,5% + 0,30€ for PayPal

yes, you can do that.

But please note these payment modes are the payment methods of the vendor payout.

@MaxenceTP, as you can see in the scrrenshot, you have set the gateway fee for stripe. Therefore when vendor will be paid via stripe this amount will be deducted.
