ParticipantI’m building a product marketplace using WooCommerce and MultiVendorX, and I’m struggling with vendor images. Even with clear guidelines (size, background color, format, etc.), the uploads often come back all over the place.
I’m looking for a way to:
1) Bulk resize, reformat, and fix images.
2) Automatically process images when vendors upload them (e.g., resize, set white backgrounds, standardize formats).I’ve looked into tools like Smush and EWWW, but I’m not sure if they can handle all of this. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any plugins, tools, or workflows you’d recommend?
The less coding/customisation the better.
Appreciate any advice!

Keymaster@sean-7927, Thank you for reaching out to us!
There are third-party plugins available that can provide the functionalities you’re looking for with images. You can explore these plugins and make them compatible with MultiVendorX so vendors can also access those features from their end.
Alternatively, you can implement your own customizations to achieve the desired workflow.
If you need any assistance, feel free to let us know!

ParticipantThanks team – thanks for the above, 2 follow up questions:
1) Where do i find information on optimal size and format of product images to supply vendors
2) Once I have images all in optimal state, is there a way i can bulk upload, like when import products?I suppose a little confused when to do things through WooCommerce vs MVX.
Thanks

1. Where do I find information on the optimal size and format of product images to supply vendors?
>> You can refer to this blog: https://www.nexcess.net/blog/woocommerce-image-size/ for detailed information on optimal image sizes.2. Once I have images in an optimal state, is there a way I can bulk upload, like when importing products?
>> Currently, the vendor dashboard does not support bulk uploading of images. To implement this functionality, you would need to add custom code tailored to your requirements.Let us know if you have any further questions!
