Duplicate orders or order synchronization issues after upgrading to MultiVendorX 5.0.0. How can I fix this?

If you’ve recently upgraded to MultiVendorX 5.0.0 and are experiencing issues such as:

  • Duplicate orders being created
  • Orders appearing multiple times
  • Order synchronization problems between WooCommerce and MultiVendorX

the first thing to check is whether High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) is enabled in your WooCommerce settings.

Resolution #

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Features.
  2. Verify that High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) is enabled.
  3. If HPOS is disabled, enable it and save your changes.
  4. Once enabled, check whether the order-related issue has been resolved.

In many cases, enabling HPOS resolves duplicate order and synchronization issues after upgrading to MultiVendorX 5.0.0.
