Hi IG, first of all, sorry to hear that you run into issues.
But we did run the beta version over 5 months and promoted the beta version in our last WCMp update too.
We have also mentioned our user to update the plugin first in the staging and then in live environment.
But as I can understand you have updated the major version in the live site, not to worry. We will assit with this migration.
Our replies are inline :
– you forgot to migrate WCMp – MultivendorX plugin settings (payment blank values, default store front page etc.)
>> Let me check with our dev team regarding this.
– no option to enable variable products in MultivendorX settings as we have here /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wcmp-setting-admin&tab=capabilities
>> WCMp has rebranded as MultiVendorX, to know more please check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZJxjr7xUew
From now onwards, MultiVendorX Pro (https://multivendorx.com/pricing/), contains all the paid addon’s feature init.
So, in order to migrate to MultiVendorX pro, you may opt for any three options :
Option A
We will share MultivendorX with the module you need. i.e. if you had only Frontend Manager, then you can only use Frontend Manageraddon’s feature in the MuliVendorX Pro.
But you can’t update the plugin after this, as this is one-time solution only.
For permanent results, we would request you to purchase MultiVendorX Pro from here https://multivendorx.com/pricing/ and opt for option B or Option C
Option B
We will give you a coupon discount based on the month left of your subscription, and you can use MultiVendorX Pro
https://multivendorx.com/pricing/
i.e. if you have purchased Advance Frontend of 100 USD and purchased this on 1st January. Then you have left 2 month in your subscription. So you will get coupon code of 100*2/12 = 16.6 => 17
Option C
You can opt for trail version of MultivendorX Pro for a month and based then opt for the Option B
But please note, in order to use Option C, you need to give us some details regarding your site and small testimonial. Only then we can give you API key for the one month free trial.
Let us know which option do you want to proceed with so we can assist you accordingly.
– Loco translated WCMp file doesn’t work with multivendorX
>> Becasue we have chnaged the plugin name, hence you just need to folow this :
– Access the backup of your site, when you has WCMp installed.
– Export the transalated file
– Now Import the csv file in your MultiVendorX Site.
– Custom css classes and shortcodes are changed
>> Just chnage the name “wcmp” to “mvx”.
– MultivendorX commissions on wp-admin shows only last 10 and csv export gives empty file
>> We didn’t face any such issue. Make sure you are using the latesrt version of MultiVendorX i.e. 4.0.2
– WCMp custom snippets – code for product reviews (not just vendor review) provided by your team, product tabs, custom email notifications
>> Just chnage the name “wcmp” to “mvx” inside code.
– Vendor dashboard menu Knowledge base and files disappear /dashboard/vendor-knowledgebase/ with MultivendorX
>> As we have added them inside module, hence just activated the modules. Then goto Workboard to access them.
For further help, check this doc https://multivendorx.com/docs/knowladgebase/knowledgebase/
– WC Enquiry Pro disappears on Vendor dashboard menu /dashboard/catalog-details/ with MultivendorX
>> Once you will installed MultiVendorX Pro, let us know. We will share the compatible plugin for Catalog.
