Hi there,

Saw the new updates on third party plugins and noticed that there’s a great messaging plugin called Better Messages. However, when the plugin is activated and set up, I couldn’t found/access any live chat related button on vendor store/vendor’s single product page as I’m using Elementor to set up my vendor store page and single product page. Can’t seem to find anything with regard to this from the plugin settings, so is there anything that I’ve missed out? Thanks

@Chris The team of Better Messages plugin confirmed us about the compatibility between MultiVendorX and their plugin.

I read the docs and contacted them previously before posting this thread. They told me that the button should be automatically output just like what the docs shown. However, because I’m using Elementor, so the chat button doesn’t show up. I didn’t get any paid version for that plugin so that’s why I’m posting here. Is it possible for your team to further integrate this fully so that it will be compatible when editing the store page and product page using Elementor? Or maybe a code snippets? I believe this would be a unique selling point for your plugin as this plugin is great in providing end-to-end conversations.

The integration is almost fully but not for any page set up using Elementor as the chat button is not visible on mvx store page and single product page if we’re using Elementor.

Hi @Chris, As you already know that the compatibility with MultiVendorX has been added from the better messages plugin team so the code for this integration has been modified on their plugin only. And debugging their code is really very difficult for us. Kindly ask them to share the code snippet as they know their coding better
However, I have informed our team to check this. But depending on our team’s availability, they will look into this.

Noted and understand about that. Thanks for helping in informing. I just renewed my plan earlier and I really hope that I can have some assistance in this regard. Once it’s fully integrated, definitely you’ll outperformed your rivals tbh. This is the code related to output the relevant button based on the integration, and I guess it’s possible.

Sure. No problem. They’ve recently resolved the issue for product page, leaving only mvx store page with the issue. Once available, please help to look into the mvx store page. For now, the button on product page can now be output via a shortcode, but I wanna output it into somewhere linked with vendor details. Maybe in the product tabs for vendor. May I know which file or which template in the source files is related to this part? Or where to include this line: echo do_shortcode(‘[button_shortcode]’); ? Another thing is that, can we increase a little bit of the vendor details via product tabs, like at least a logo or image of the vendor, instead of only the name and ‘more products by vendor_name’?

@Chris Glad to hear that you have progressed with the fix of the issue.

Please understand that the compatibility between the plugins has been added from the Better Messages plugin end. The compatibility codes are written within their plugin only. We have not added any code in our plugin regarding this compatibility.

So we recommend you reach out to the Better Messages plugin support for assistance. They will be able to address your concerns appropriately in this matter and provide you with the fixes.

Apparently you didn’t understand my question my dear support or you accidentally skip it or maybe you just didn’t read finish. I’m so fed up with your support as the answers are always with unrelated stuff. For freemium users, I can say that it’s good that you didn’t differentiate freemium and pro users but you sure you have enough resources to handle all requests? I don’t want to always waste time here. Did you ever read my last few sentences???? I don’t think these questions are related to Better Messages 🙂

1) WHICH FILE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTPUT OF VENDOR DETAILS IN THE VENDOR DETAILS TAB IN THE DEFAULT WC PRODUCT TABS?
YOU TELL ME THE FILE AND I WILL ADD THIS CODE MYSELF INTO IT OK? I DON’T HOPE FOR YOU TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AT ALL AFTER ALL THESE EXPERIENCES.
2) VENDOR DETAILS TAB ONLY HAS VENDOR NAME & THE HREF TEXT ”MORE PRODUCTS BY VENDOR ABC”, DOES IT INCLUDE VENDOR LOGO/IMAGE IF THEY UPLOADED THEIR OWN LOGO/IMAGE? IF YES, THEN GOOD, IF NO, CAN YOU ADD TO ENHANCE THE VENDOR DETAILS?

I bought a lot of plugins and I can see a lot of differences in between the supports provided as compared with yours. A free plugin support like pluginus.net and some paid plugin support like piwebsolution are definitely 200% more helpful than yours, for instance, understand about user enquiries and problems, answers which is straight to the point and helpful to solve the problem raised, and some code snippets which is really helpful. They know how to allocate their resources fairly. But from here, based on my experiences, 9 out of 10 threads posted here were a waste of time. Without mentioning all those bugs that were found to be present in your plugin, and did you know that the support flow did took a lot of time right? Even reporting a bug takes a lot of time as well, as you’ll just stand to the point that it’s working fine on your end but in fact, you never really understand the flow and ended up wasted a few rounds of time to get you understand on the issue raised, and then getting redirected to your developers and fixing it after weekssssssss. I understand that there’s only 24 hours per day and if you can’t manage all the threads very well, please change your focus instead of taking your paid users’ questions with perfunctory effort. Refine your support flows so that your team could allocate enough resources to the relevant users needed. Else, you might just slowly lose your users.

I can output the shortcode easily on Elementor. But I want to output the shortcode in the Default WC Product Tabs > Vendor Details Tab. So which template or php file and which directory??

For the query with vendor details tab (we are sorry that we missed this again), the vendor-tab.php template file is responsible for the output of the vendor details. So you need to override this template file to add any modification : yourtheme/MultiVendorX/vendor-tab.php. You need to echo your shortcode here.

Thanks. Finally an answer that is related to my query. Now this is a question for second query, for displaying vendor logo/image on vendor details tab, I can see that the question was asked before in this thread

You can use the same hook for adding more details on that section.

Ok noted. Thanks, let me try it. Btw, just to update, I’ve added the button on mvx store page last week after checking on their codes and requested them to update it on their next update. It’s not that hard as their function will output the button automatically already and as a newbie in WP and php, I didn’t even take more than 15 minutes tho.
