Hi support,

I’m trying to increase the commission fee for products from a certain category. Let say if the product_cat that I wanted to modify are Subcategory A and Subcategory B with the amount modified as shown after this post. May I know which kind of action hooks are available for this? And can you please guide me on this please? Thanks

With MultiVendorX you can set commission on categories . Now kindly let us know if you want to calculate commission on subcategories . Also please let us know what flow you are trying to achieve through this code . It will be great if you can explain the flow to us with a mathematical calculation so that we can help you accordingly .

Hello Chris, Thanks for explaining the flow.
But checking third party code thorough code that we haven’t worked with and providing the correct code is beyond our support.
I am requesting you to check the files(https://github.com/multivendorx/MultiVendorX/blob/main/classes/class-mvx-calculate-commission.php)on how we have calculated product/vendor/category wise commission . Following these you will have to calculate commission for subcategory.

Seems like we’ve to edit the original file for this. Your plugin doesn’t have any hooks or filters that will allow us to fire on the category commission calculation right?

@Chris We calculate commission on categories. The flow is given on the doc shared with you.
You can follow the file we have shared earlier to implement the commission calculation flow for subcategory.
