Hi support,
I was finding a way to allow vendor to add videos for their rental product. I came across a few WooCommerce extensions that provides feature of adding product videos. I bought https://woocommerce.com/products/product-video-for-woocommerce/ and just to notice that the add videos section is not visible in the vendor dashboard but only visible in the admin panel. How do I allow vendor to upload video for their rental product? I can see that the Add Media button under product short description & product description have an option to create video playlist. Any ideas?

@Chris you are using a third party plugin to give the vendor the option to add videos for their products.
However, from your scenario it seems like it is not compatible with MultiVendorX.
But you can definitely do custom code and make this compatible with us. Our service team (https://multivendorx.com/custom-development/ ) can assist you with this.
You may also contact the responsible plugin team and ask them about the compatibility. If they need any help to make the plugin compatible with MultiVendorX we can help them in this process. -

Great. Nice marketing strategies. Now I know that most extensions listed on WooCommerce Extensions that’s compatible with WooCommerce isn’t compatible with MVX. Also, your service team seems not very well-organized, appears to be having poor structural flow and has bad reviews from past users, requesting extra and extra payments for the works that should’ve done at first.
Thanks for the great marketing. Lesson learnt. -

@Chris, I can understand your end.
However, there are millions of plugins out there and everyone needs different plugins as per their requirements. But it is nearly impossible to provide support for all those plugins. That’s why we run third-party collaboration program. We are already reaching out to the plugin authors in this regard. But it is always better if you will send the team an email keeping us in the loop (contact@multivendorx.com), this does put some priority on the compatibility request.
Now if we do not receive the same support from them there are very few things that we can do.
That is why I have asked you to contact the plugin author.Chis, You don’t need to hire our service team. This is just an alternate option.

I understand that its impossible to be compatible with all those plugins. The WC extensions would probably works well if its on customer end whereas anything related to vendors end supposedly would be not compatible. I was misleaded in the previous thread that any WC extensions that works with WC will be working here also. Misunderstanding.
I’m used to receiving this kind of messages when it comes to compatibilities especially after I bought it instead of raising it during pre-sales. Just like the RnB plugin and many more. So, I dont see any hopes here. Anyway, how was the collaboration request going on? -

It’s okay, I’ve figured out my own way to get this implemented. You may close this thread now.

Hello @Chris
We are constantly reaching out to third party plugin teams to make their plugins compatible with MultiVendorX and give our users a better experience.
But we are not getting the same support from the others and that is why the collaboration with third party plugins is taking extra time than expected.
However it is good to hear that your issue is solved now. If you need help in future please create a new thread.
