I’ve noticed that while vendors can currently mark their products as “hidden” via the vendor dashboard, these products are still accessible if someone has the direct URL.
What I’d like to achieve is the ability for vendors to mark their products as private, meaning the product would only be visible and accessible to the vendor themselves—not to the public or other users—even via direct URL.
The goal is to allow vendors to use the dashboard not only for listing items for sale, but also for managing inventory. Ideally, new products would be marked as private by default, and the vendor could switch them to public when they’re ready to sell.
Is this something that could be implemented via the plugin settings or with a bit of customisation?

Thank you so much for your patience.I wanted to inform you that MultiVendorX is currently going through a major backend and frontend revamp. The feature you mentioned has been added to our 5.0 milestone (you can track it here: https://github.com/multivendorx/mvx/issues/980 ).
Since this is part of a bigger update, we’re unable to commit to an exact timeline right now. That said, I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and do my best to get back to you as soon as there’s any progress or workaround available.
