Hi!
Im developing a spa marketplace. For that Im using MVX and Woocommerce Appointments (Bookings WP). But Im noticing some limitations with the integration.
1. You cannot add staff to appointments (vendor)?
2. Addons feature included in Woocommerce Appointments not included?
3. I cannot finde Google Calendar integration to sync. Not included?Do you plan on integrating these features?
Now, I could purchase Woocommerce Bookings to substitute the absent features I mentioned, but first I would be very grateful if you could please confirm the following questions:
1. Can I even use Woocommerce Bookings (https://woo.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/) for appointments with MVX?
2. Will vendors be able to add Staff as a resource in bookings?
3. Can staff sync their Google Calendars with the bookings calendar?Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

Hi @Daniel Thanks for getting in touch with us. Regarding the enhanced functionality of Appointment products from the vendor end, so kindly understand that we have just implemented the same flow of WooCommerce appointments for vendors so we do not have any control over adding new functionalities for vendors.
Once the plugin team adds these functionalities in their end, then only we can add the same for the vendors. Now regarding the Staff in appointment products, we do not have support for that. But not to worry, with our Staff manager module the vendors can easily assign multiple capabilities to their staff.

Now for your queries regarding the booking products our replies are inline –
1. Can I even use Woocommerce Bookings (https://woo.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/) for appointments with MVX?
>> You can surely use booking products to create appointments with WooCommerce bookings and MultiVendorX Pro. But note that if you create appointment products using the bookable product types in that case the available features will be different from Appointable products.
Kindly check both the product types and select which one is suitable for you.
2. Will vendors be able to add Staff as a resource in bookings?
>>There is no such option of adding staff as a resource for a booking product. In WooCommerce bookings, the resource represents something else. To have a clear view of the resources kindly go through this doc here https://woo.com/documentation/products/extensions/woocommerce-bookings/.
3. Can staff sync their Google Calendars with the bookings calendar?
>> The vendors get the option of syncing their bookings with the google calendar in the vendor dashboard. But there is no support for the vendor staff to handle these.

Bookings WP already includes product addons as well as the capability to add staff to appointable products. Does MVX plan in integrating these features? These features are basic when it comes to Appointments for a salon, for example with 2 or more stylists.Another feature missing and already included in Bookings WP is the ability to manually add appointments. So in this sense, the use of Bookings WP with MVX comes very limited. I hope MVX has plans in their roadmap to add these important features.
For the reasons above I decided to try WC Bookings, which I can already see has a larger integration, even including Google Calendar syncing.
Regarding staff, is it possible to include in staff permissions access to bookings and the bookings calendar? That would be wonderful, not to say also being able to add staff as a resource 😀

@Daniel We’re planning to introduce a page on our website to gather user feedback, such as adding the staff facility, addon implementation etc for vendors, similar to what’s available in the backend. Once we receive five positive responses from our users, we’ll proceed to implement this feature for vendors. We’ll share the page with you shortly.

Hello @spower12a, Thanks for your feedback regarding the features of Appointment products in the vendor dashboard. Our team is working on the modifications in our features. So please be rest assured we will add all these features for Appointment products in our future updates.
