Hello,
I have a problem with the generation of commissions, sometimes I have commissions that are generated for orders that are not paid or cancelled and therefore no longer exist. I can’t identify exactly how to reproduce the problem but it has been present for several months.

Hi thanks for getting in touch with us.
Whenever an order is placed, irrespective of the order status we create the corresponding sub order. However automatic payment of the commission depends on the order status.

WCMp only pays those commissions (automatically) whose order status is either completed or processing.

I still can’t figure out exactly how to reproduce the problem, but in any case a commission is generated for an order that is then deleted (because it was not paid or failled).
On wp-admin we can see that the “net earning” is 0€ and that the commission corresponds to an order number that no longer exists, that’s why no product is displayed in the list.
The problem is that the commission is generated for nothing, but especially that on the dashboard it increases the “withdrawable balance”.

Another thing, is it possible not to create the commission for the products that are free?
It would avoid storing a lot of useless data in my case

Can you kindly confirm us your issue which you have tried to mention is that, a commission is created for an order which has been placed in your site by any customer and it got deleted since the payment was not made for that order.

However the commission amount can be calculated, it means for a free product the commission amount can be zero.

As a result we can suggest you that if you are comfortable with coding you can create a custom script that will handle these special circumstances.

Do you have any idea when the update will be available? This is quite problematic since my sales people think they have made sales when in fact they have not :/

I know how to use conditions to check for a zero amount but I don’t know what hooks/filters to use to do this.
Could not creating the commission create bugs on the seller dashboard?

I did the update. I can’t tell you if it works or not for the moment as I was not able to reproduce the problem but I will check if it reappears.

Is it only for orders after the update or should it have removed commissions from previous orders too ?
