ParticipantHello – one of our vendors has connected their stripe account (even disconnected and reconnected) they appear in the stripe connected accounts with no alerts. But their customer is getting attached error.
Please let me know if there is something we need to do to reconnect that account or troubleshoot.

ParticipantI have disconnected this vendor account, logged into stripe and confirmed they were disconnected. Then had them reconnect and confirmed that the account reconnected. Still getting this error on every payment attempt.

KeymasterHello There, We are extemely sorry to hear that you have faced an issue on your end.
However the error appearing on the checkout page indicates that the Stripe key you’ve added is incorrect. To verify this, please go to Admin Dashboard → MultiVendorX → Payments → Stripe Connect and check the Secret Key you’ve provided. Update the key if needed and try placing an order again.
If the issue still persists, kindly create a staging site (a replica of your live site) and share the staging site URL along with temporary admin and FTP access, so we can investigate the issue directly and assist you in resolving it.
Please remember to mark your reply as private when sharing access details.

ParticipantThis is working in test mode, the issue is only with one vendor. I have checked their stripe account and everything looks good. Is there something stored that we need to delete before trying to reconnect the account?

ParticipantTo test this issue, I connected the vendor with error to another stripe account that has been working with another vendor and got the same error so it seems something is not getting properly updated in the vendor settings. Please let me know if there is a database entry we can manually clear or something else to make sure when we reconnect it connects properly.
Thanks -

Participantwhen i look at the user meta data for anything related to stripe- the only difference i see between the working vendor and the nonworking vendor is that the nonworking vendor has an entry:
meta_key: _stripe_customer_id meta_value:The working vendor does not have any _stripe_customer_id entry.

ParticipantI have confirmed this is not an issue with the stripe account (platform or connected)
– I connected the stripe account of the vendor that is getting the error to a working vendor and was able to complete a successful transaction.
This is an issue with the vendor account, how can we fix this? is there any debug or database snapshot info i can provide to help resolve this? Thanks

KeymasterThis is quite unusual, as we’re not able to reproduce these issues on our end.
Could you please create a staging site where the issue can be replicated? This will allow us to debug the problem directly on your setup and provide an accurate solution. Once the staging site is ready, kindly share the staging site URL along with temporary admin and FTP access.
Please remember to mark your reply as private when sharing the access details.
We will look forward to hearing back from you.
