Hello,
I’d like to offer customers a discount on their first purchase. But I would like that discount to come out of what I receive, not out of the vendors commission. How can I do this? Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
By ‘But I would like that discount to come out of what I receive’ do you mean the coupon discount to be beared by the admin? If yes then you have to go to admin dashboard >> WCMp >> settings >> payment >> uncheck this checkbox as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/10zopol). By disabling this checkbox the vendor commission will be calculated on the product price and not on the discounted price.
Kindly let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thank you for the response and apologies for the confusion. Yes I would like the admin (me) to bear the discount.
However, your solution would make me bear the cost of all coupons. I only want this for one coupon. Not all coupons. I want to offer a store wide discount to new customers that I will bear.
My vendors should still be able to set up their own coupons, which they bear. -

Hello,
By default flow when you disable the check box for coupon sharing the vendor commission will be calculated on the product price and not on the discounted price. This will be applied for all the coupons and not for any particular coupon.
Now if you want this flow for any particular coupon then you have to do a good amount of custom coding at your end. However depending on customer demand, resources, time and team availability we do have a plan to introduce this feature in our future updates.

I tried to uncheck that box as instructed as I was wanting to do this too, but after doing a test transaction the commission still deducts the coupon from the vendor’s commission.

Hello,
We have tested it at our end and it is working fine.
The product price is set as 300$ , coupon discount is 100$ (fixed amount), commission amount is 10% to the vendor. Now when the share coupon checkbox is enabled then vendor commission is calculated after deducting the coupon amount from the product price as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/1178spw)
(300 – 100 = 200 and 200*10% = 20)Now when the share coupon textbox is disable then the vendor commission is calculated on the product price as you can see here (https://prnt.sc/1178t9t) (300*10% = 30)
Kindly let us know if you need any further assistance.

Can you try to set the vendor to receive 100% of the commission? That’s my settings, so perhaps there’s a bug there. If you can show that it’s working, then I can further debug, however I don’t believe anything I have in place would affect coupons. Thank you so much!

@Redilson Sorry for delay in response.
We have found the issue at our end and you can track it from here https://github.com/wcmarketplace/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/issues/810
