ParticipantHi there,
Asking if Staff Manager works with Marketplace Membership?
Selected Capabilities from Marketplace Membership don’t appear in capability list of ‘Add New Staff’.
Based on code I understand, it shows default list ($capability_list = $MVX->vendor_caps->get_vendor_caps();) instead of selected capability list from Marketplace Membership in class-mvx-sub-vendor-frontend.php line 254
Can this be fixed to show and select capability list from Marketplace Membership if Marketplace Membership module is enabled?

ParticipantAlso please check for this use case. If no capabilities are selected and a staff is added, the Edit Staff screen doesn’t save changes, it throws an Ajax error.
If atleast 1 capability is selected, the Edit Staff screen works well. -

Keymaster@inkanov, thank you for reaching out to us.
We’ve reviewed the process of adding the ‘Vendor Staff’ option to a marketplace membership plan. Once the option is added in the ‘Add-ons’ section, the Staff Management feature appears correctly in the vendor dashboard.
Additionally, we did not encounter any errors while editing the capabilities, as mentioned in your message. To assist you further, could you kindly share the error details with us?
We look forward to your response.

ParticipantOnce the option is added in the ‘Add-ons’ section, the Staff Management feature appears correctly in the vendor dashboard. – That’s not the issue
The issue is with the list of capabilities appearing while creating new staff. This list doesn’t come from Membership Plan. See screenshot.
Also the other issue is while Edit Staff added when 0 capability is selected while adding Staff. The Edit Staff screen doesn’t save and throws an Ajax error.

Keymaster@Inkanov Thank you for getting back to us.
The capabilities assigned to staff are managed through the Staff Manager module and are not connected to the capabilities specified in the membership plan.
Regarding the error, we reviewed the process of editing vendor staff capabilities but could not replicate the issue you described. To assist you further, please share a video demonstrating the steps to recreate the issue. This will help us investigate and resolve it more effectively.
Looking forward to your response.

ParticipantThe capabilities assigned to staff are managed through the Staff Manager module and are not connected to the capabilities specified in the membership plan. – That’s an issue if Coupons are not enabled in the Membership Plan. The Vendor sees Coupons and gets confused with what’s that. Also Subvendor sees coupons when Reporting Vendor doesn’t see Coupons.
Also I haven’t tested what happens when PDF invoice, Upload Media, Wholesale, Shipping etc etc is enabled/disabled from membership plan. The Subvendor should have the same possible capability as Reporting vendor, not something else.
Regarding the other error I’ll share a video.

ParticipantAlso other issues with Subvendor when there are 0 orders. Note that this don’t throw an error with Reporting Vendor.
– Orders don’t load. It should show 0 orders found. Instead it gets stuck on ‘Processing’ and jQuery console error is ‘Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘length’)’
– Refunds show – Internal Server Error – Reload
There are probably other issues too. I don’t want to spend time debugging and creating videos for basic test scenarios with 0 items.
Can this Subvendor module be made compatible with Membership and thoroughly tested.

KeymasterHello @inkanov,We have reviewed the details on our end. As mentioned earlier, the Vendor Staff module is provided as an add-on feature for vendors registering with the membership marketplace plan. The features available depend on the add-on options included in the plan. However, the capabilities assigned to vendors under the plan are not connected with the capabilities within any add-ons, including the Staff Manager module.
Regarding the error on the vendor staff dashboard’s order page, we were able to replicate the issue on our side. Our development team has been informed, and a fix will be implemented accordingly. We will keep you updated on the progress.
Thank you for your understanding..

ParticipantUnfortunately, it’s not working at all now. The endpoint doesn’t load. When I downgraded back to version 1.3.16, the endpoint loaded.

ParticipantThanks Sangita. The endpoint worked with the new version.
These are the capabilities in the Vendor Dashboard. I’m not clear what changed, should there be something more like ‘Edit Order’?
