Hello,

I have activated the admin check before a product is published, however it activates at the same time the verification by an admin if a product is modified.
This is not annoying in itself, what is annoying is that while waiting for the verification by the admin the product is hidden from the store.

What is possible to do?
– Not to put an admin verification when the seller edit the product but to put one when publishing
– Don’t hide the product from the store while waiting for the verification

If the product gets automatically published even if the product awaits for the admin approval now , before the admin approaches for sudden changes the products will still get published . which is not a recommended settings from our end

I’d like there to be a manual admin check for new product creation (there is already) but no check for existing product modifications

This option is already unchecked as you can see on my screenshot. But when a vendor edit a product, it’s hidden from the store and I have to re-publish it

Can you please create a staging site and share the admin FTP access so that we can check on your site
While sharing the access don’t forget to mark the response as private.
Also with the access create a short video regarding the issue so that we can understand it better

Currently, the settings “Approval Needs to Publish Re-edited Product” depend if the option “Publish Products” is enabled.

I updated WCMp to the latest version with this bug fix, but it looks like the products are still hidden from the store when a vendor edit it

Hi,
As per WooCommerce’s flow, whenever a product is displayed in shop page it means that the product status is published.

So when a product is send for approval (after re-edit) it means the product status becomes pending hence it will not display there.

Yes, but I would like to see that when a product is “published”, even if the vendor modifies it, it does not come back as “pending”

Kindly note that if “Approval needs to publish re-edited products” is enabled (see screenshot-https://prnt.sc/21kazgs )then that product will get published, without going for approval after the vendor edits that product.

However we will change the text of that option in our next update.

– New products need to be approved
– Modifying a product does not need approval
