Hi there,

As I understood, when using the SPMV flow, I will have two or more products in my backend, assigned to different vendors. However, it shouldn’t be displayed in the shop as two different products, right?

In my case, it does. When I have the SPMV flow activated and add another product, select the existing product I want to assign another vendor to, the “new” version is displayed in my shop as a totally new product, or a duplicate.

In the “new” versions, I already clicked on the option “don’t show the product in the shop or searches”, because I don’t want the shop to be full of similar stuff. I would rather like to have ONE version of it displayed and when people click on it, they can choose their vendor.
But when I do the setup like this (hide the duplicates from being displayed in the shop), the products won’t be shown on the vendors’ profiles, either …

Also: The different versions of this products aren’t displayed on the original product site’s tab “more offers” (the tab where you can usually see the other vendors’ versions). I did a workaround by linking the other vendors with a button in the product discription (like “you can buy this also from vendor XY – click here”), but this is of course a bit complicated and maybe also confusing for customers.

Do you have any idea on that?

Hi Sonja, as you can see in the video, we only show one SPMV product in the main shop as per settings (https://prnt.sc/wdU8X-VyeX55), and other vendor’s offers are also displayed under the More Offer tab: https://fluvid.com/videos/detail/akD6rUvB8Et3631p1

Now the issue you are facing might be related to the theme. Just to be sure, please switch to some default theme such as Twenty Sixteen, and check again.

Thank you very much! I tested the feature now on my other shop, where I also use WCMp, but with another theme.

You’re right, it must be related to the theme. On my other site, it works totally fine and there, it will also display the products on the vendors’ site and doesn’t have a duplicate in the shop.

@Sonja Neuroth, it seems like the theme has overridden WooCmmerce’s code, which is why this is not working.

Can you send the theme author an email and keep our email in cc (contact@wc-marketplace.com). This way we can also assist them with this.
