Please, is there any customization so that on the supplier panel in the “Delivery” tab there is an option to enable free shipping for that specific product, is it possible?

Hello there, Thanks for getting in touch with us.
For the modification that you are looking for on your end, you can simply use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-free-shipping-per-product/ on your end. Using this plugin you can create a shipping class and name it free-shipping then, assign the class to any product you need.
But please note we have not tested the plugin with MultiVendorX hence can not assure you about the compatibility. You can surely check the plugin on your end with MultiVendorX and let us know if you need any further assistance from our end. -

@KC, you need to add the Free Shipping class from the admin end, as shared here https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-free-shipping-per-product/
If you still not able to find the settings, please do contact the plugin author of Woo Shipping Per Product, they would be able to assist you further.

Yeah, I am aware of that. But I’d like the Vendors to do that. So it looks like there is no option to add any other class than the auto-generated vendor-specific class to a product, right?

@KC, provide me one small information.
As an admin, are you able to add this Free Shipping class?
-
March 23, 2024 at 5:20 PM #218437KCParticipant
As an admin, I can add this class to products from the Woocommerce product interface. But in a multivendor scenario that is not practical.
I also noticed that when I select “No shipping class” from this dropdown in the product page as a vendor, that value is not being saved even after pressing the Update button. It sets back to the vendor’s shipping class.

Thanks for sharing the information with us. It seems that the https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-free-shipping-per-product/ plugin is not compatible with our plugin MultiVendorX or a multi vendor scenario and hence the vendors are not getting the option of adding Free shipping class from their end.
So I would suggest you reach out to the above mentioned plugin team and ask them to make their plugin compatible with MultiVendorX and once they do so, the vendors will also be able to add free shipping class from their end.
If you want we can share you the hook/filter list and you can add a free shipping class for the vendors by adding custom code on your end.
Regarding the “No shipping class” option not getting saved, we are able to recreate this on our end and we will add a fix for this in our next update. You can keep track of the progress of the issue from here https://github.com/multivendorx/MultiVendorX/issues/696.
Let us know if you need any further assistance from our end. -

Can you please share the hook/filter list? I’ll see if I can add a free shipping class for the vendors by adding custom codes.

You can add override the html-product-data-shipping.php template file and add custom code accordingly to create a free shipping class for the vendors.
You may follow the below overriding path to override the template –yourtheme/MultiVendorX/vendor-dashboard/product-manager/views/html-product-data-shipping.php.
Let us know if you need any further assistance from our end.

I updated the plug-in to the recent version for the issue
“Fix – Issue with Shipping class update in vendor dashboard #696.”It saves the setting when a shipping class other than the default vendor class is selected. I can see that the shipping fee changes after saving. But when I go back to the shipping tab, it reverts back to the default class.
