Hi!
On vendor dashboard frontend in add->product page there is no product type as groupbuy available in the dropdown list.

Not only in the frontend dashbaord even in the wp dashboard of vendor there is no groupbuy option.

Although I have it on WP admin dashboard products->add product-> product type.

Why it is happening? Any suggestion/solution to get it on the vendor dashboard?

Thank you for reaching out to us. By default, Woocommerce provides us with four types of products namely Simple product, Variable product, Group product and External/Affiliate Product. Hence you could observe the same in the dropdown. Now, may I know which WooCommerce extension you are using to get the group buy option in the admin section.

We have not tested the compatibility of https://wpgenie.org/woocommerce-groupbuy/ with WCMp so we will not be able to comment anything on it. However you can do custom coding at your end to make it compatible with WCMp.

I don’t know why you are saying this that I could do custom coding. I think you must know how difficult it is to implement this for a developer.
Why don’t you provide me some live support for custom coding at least your developers must know the files which I have to customize!!
Another thing is that even if I admit that your front end management doesn’t support Group buy option but what happen on the WP dashboard. On WP dashboard there is also no option of group buy product type. Does it really make a sense to you?
When a vendor access WP dashboard to add product he/she can’t get the product type group buy why is it happening?

>> We do understand your end, however, as you know, there are hundreds of plugin that has it’s own product type and functionality reletaed to a product. Hence it is quite difficult to add support for all these plugins in our frontend add product page. However we are trying to add support for the plugins that are used by most of our user. We have added yours to our list. If more users are looking for this support, then we will start working on this.

Now, if you want to do custom code, our team will guide you with the hook/filters. They will get back to you by Monday.

yes, classic ping back, well since problem is in their plugin and we noticed that almost all multi-vendor are made so that only default product types from WooCommerce work you will need to ask them to help you to integrate our plugin. Other than that, we plan to make integration for Dokan, and you can use Product Vendors from WooCommerce which does not have frontend part.

Now let me know what to do?? This is going to be ridiculous.

@indradwihartanto.kulakaja, can you please ask the Group By team, that we are willing to help them with our resources if they want to work on this integration? Also, you may share their contact id, so we can communicate with them.

Regarding the admin backend part, can you please ask them why a custom role can’t use their product type from WordPress backend. Because we don’t block any plugin’s content from vendor’s backend

@alloushm, we haven’t heard back from the Group By team.

However, as don’t restrict vendors from accessing their backend, so we presume your vendor can access Group By product type from backed.

But, if you need that in WCMp dashboard, then you have to do custom code and integrate this plugin into WCMp. But this requires good amount of custom code.
