ParticipantHI there
Am I able to install and activate MVX Pro locally on my dev machine? I have MVX Pro already registered on a staging server, but I would like to also make changes locally on my dev environment by installing and activating MVX Pro locally. How can I achieve this please?

ModeratorHi @dgtise,
Thank you for reaching out!
You can use MultiVendorX Pro on any site by simply downloading the plugin from your My Account page (https://multivendorx.com/my-account/api-downloads/) and installing it on your preferred site.
Please note, however, that license key activation depends on the plan you’ve purchased. For example, if you’ve purchased a single-site license, it can only be activated on one site at a time. Activation ensures that the site receives automatic updates and support.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions! -

ParticipantSo what you are saying is you do not support localhost development. A site should be considered a public website, which a development environment like mine is not…
This is a massive challenge, do you have any workarounds please? How can I develop for MVX Pro on my local PC before pushing changes up to a staging server with this restriction??

ParticipantSo this means I can run both https://dev.local and Staging site with just one Pro licence at the same time?

ModeratorHi there, thank you for getting back to us.
Yes, with the current plugin structure, you can use MultiVendorX Pro on both of your sites simultaneously without needing to activate the license on each one.
However, please note that an active license is required to receive updates and support for the latest version.
