Hi,

I’m after some custom coding to give to my website developer. What information do I need in order to make the following options pre-selected/defaults when a vendor uploads a product to their store.
– ‘Product Data’ changed from ‘Simple product’ to ‘Variable product’.
– The ‘Manage Stock?’ option to be automatically ticked.
– Automatically select and save two different attributes, with all their values selected, to be used as product variations.
Any help would be great, thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. From the information supplied, it seems that automatically selecting two attributes as defaults is too ambitious of a job for me at this point in time. Changing the Product Data field from Simple product to Variable product is directly related to the above, so I will not need this information at this time.

Thank you for directing me to the information I need in regard to automatically ticking the Manage Stock? option.
