Hi WCMP team,

I was testing out the “Vendor can publish Re-edited product” feature, but there appears to be an issue with it. If you enable it, it works ok on the very first submission a vendor does. It sends the New Product Submitted email to the Admin as expected and the product is waiting Pending Review status.

However, if the vendor hits Submit again immediately, or they make changes before the Admin has reviewed and published the product, it goes live immediately and bypasses the requirement for Admin to review.

We have two settings (https://prnt.sc/1WvlUPpiP4e6):
– Publish Products: If this option is disabled, then the vendor can’t publish any product. Therefore when they will add a product it will show this message :
“Product is successfully submitted for review”
– Vendor can publish Re-edited product: If you click on this option after submitting a product, then if you click on “Save Product” again, it will think that vendor is submitting re-editted product. That is why it is getting published.
Kindly adjust the settings as per your need.
