Hi WCMP team,
I updated to the latest version and there’s a message about the new Multivendor X that won’t go away. If you dismiss it, it comes back if you go to another page. Can you provide a fix for this in an update please?
Will this new Multivendor X effect the current system/naming structure/features at all? Or, is it simply a name change?
Thank you!

@redilson, first of all, sorry to hear that you have faced this issue.
we will release an update today with the fix.
Regarding MultiVendorX, it is not just renamed. We have revamped our WCMp flow totally. From admin settings to coding optimization. We have made a small video too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZJxjr7xUew&ab_channel=MultiVendorX%28PreviouslyWCMarketplace%29Let us know if you need any further help.

Thank you! Question: We’ve built a ton of custom functionality with WCMP that has been critical to our business. Will this new framework render all that useless or does this new version still support core wcmp code/processes that we’ve relied on for years?

@redilson, I understand that you have done many customizations.
There is one simple way to apply these customization for MultiVendorX also. Suppose any filter name has this name “wcmp”, just replace this wcmp with “mvx”. That’s it.

Thank you. Will it be 2 different plugins? Will WCMP still be maintained?

Is there any documentation on Multivendor X? How would we go about testing it, and do we have to turn off all WCMP plugins? Is there a conversion from WCMP to Multivendor X so we don’t lose data? I’m hoping you’ll maintain WCMP for quite a while for any major bugs or security issues if we aren’t able to migrate to Multivendor X.
Thanks for your help!

Redilson, please do follow our video, this will guide you on how to install the beta plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6ZPznJ2Hew
Basically, when will release an official update of WCMp 4.0, the plugin itself will be changed to MultuiVendorX
Currently, we are running the beta version, which is why you have to download this separately and test this in your staging site.
FYI, we are yet to release the Pro version, where you will get all the addon’s features. In the meantime, you can follow our doc: https://multivendorx.com/knowladgebase/
