Logical error in CPG Categories as well as in Add/Edit Product Categories

      There’s a logical error in CPG Categories as well as in Add/Edit Product Categories. This is for both MVX and MVX Pro Membership Module. I’ll explain with an example.

      Suppose you have Product Categories like this
      – Category A
      — Subcategory AA
      — SubSubCategory AAA
      — SubSubCategory AAB
      — SubSubCategory AAC
      — Subcategory AB
      — SubSubCategory ABA
      — SubSubCategory ABB
      — SubSubCategory ABC
      – Category B
      — Subcategory BA
      — SubSubCategory BAA
      — SubSubCategory BAB
      — SubSubCategory BAC
      — Subcategory BB
      — SubSubCategory BBA
      — SubSubCategory BBB
      — SubSubCategory BBC

      If in the MVX Pro Membership, you select available categories to the vendor in the Membership Plan as only BBB, you would expect the CPG screen as well as non-CPG Add/Edit Product Categories to show:
      – Category B
      — Subcategory BB
      — SubSubCategory BBB
      i.e. only the Selected Categories and its parent categories. Nothing else.

      However, this is shown:
      – Category B
      — Subcategory BA
      — SubSubCategory BAA
      — SubSubCategory BAB
      — SubSubCategory BAC
      — Subcategory BB
      — SubSubCategory BBA
      — SubSubCategory BBB
      — SubSubCategory BBC
      i.e. the Selected Categories and all children of all parent categories

      I’ve tested this out with both MVX and MVX Pro Membership Module. Both have the same issue.

      Any update pls. We aren’t using CPG so it isn’t a blocker, but its best that this logic be corrected.

      We have already added fix for this issue in our latest version of MultiVendorX pro. So kindly update to the latest version of both MultiVendorX and MultiVendorX pro and check the same on your end.
