      Hi,

I would like to raise this forum question again – https://multivendorx.com/support-forum/topic/cant-create-vendor-membership-recurring-subscription/ and this one: https://multivendorx.com/support-forum/topic/paypal-not-working-with-mvx-for-recurring-vendor-membership/. I am not sure why you continue to close or hide them from the public forum as they have not been resolved.

I need further assistance with ensuring that the recurring membership is connected with PayPal. I installed the WooCommerce PayPal Payments (https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/) plugin as you advised, however it does not work. Why do I need to install this anyways as there is already the ‘MVX PayPal Checkout – PayPal’ option. Installing this plugin created a 3rd option which did not work (Please see attached image – there are 3 PayPal payment methods activated). So when I click ‘Subscribe now’ on https://picflick.co.za/vendor-membership/ it does not redirect to create the recurring payment on PayPal. The page simply refreshed. Please can you investigate by advising what the issue is? I have ensured that the API keys are correct and that PayPal is activated in Live. Is it redirecting to PayPal and PayPal is failing, or is MVX not configured correctly.

I have also updated both plugins:
      – MultiVendorX: Version 4.0.13
      – MultiVendorX Pro: Version 1.0.5

      Thanks

Hi @Picflick, The reason we use the PayPal plugin for this, is because Paypal had made some changes in the recent recurring structure to handle recurring payments. So instead of adding the same support in our plugin too, we have enabled PayPal to accept the recurring fee.

We have tested this on our end, although the payment is working fine, but the vendor has not added to the site. Our team is inspecting this. We will soon give you a solution.

Hi Greg, I am not able to proceed with the membership plan in your site. Can you please share a video on your end regarding the whole checkout flow, so we can follow that.

Also, it is recommended to share the staging site so we can deactivate the plugin and theme.

@Picflick, as this is live site, for some reason there is no option for your site to deactivate/reactivate plugins in bulk.
Can you share your site’s access tomorrow within 9 am IST to 120 PM ISt, where only woocommerce, MultiVendorX and MultiVendorX pro is activated. So we can check quickly.

Greg please use an updated version of MultiVendorX and MultiVendorX Pro https://prnt.sc/QXbdTeBLlkXs. You are using older version https://prnt.sc/a7yeV6CPGRQd

Once you will use updated version, the issue will be fixed.

Thank you. It is working now.
I would never want to manually uninstall and install the the MultivendorX and MultiVendorX Pro plugins, so in future how can I upgrade them through the online cloud process?
Also, sometimes only 1 has an update, sometimes both have an update. Which one do I upgrade first?

    • #193449

Hello @Picflick You can update the plugins by going to the admin dashboard >>Plugins https://prnt.sc/T_myMwJpRQVD . Also you can go to the admin dashboard >> updates https://prnt.sc/VOs2dg3APWTh from here also you can update the plugins.
It is always recommended to update multivendorx first.
