Hello. I’m creating a site with both buyers and sellers. I’m having issues with setting both up:
Sellers:
I can’t seem to get the messaging option right. I need the seller’s email and phone hidden, but have the option to send and receive messages to buyers, please.And, when the vendor logs out, they are taken to the screen that is attached here. They should be taken back to the home page. How do I fix that?
Buyers:
I’m not sure how to set them up. They need to register also and will need their own dashboard of sorts to view their past orders, messages, etc. How do I do that and not get them confused with the seller set up?Also, the link at the top of the page – how do I create the link in teh main navigation at the top to show “My Account” when logged in, and “Login or Register” when not logged in?

Now can you please let us know whether do you want the customer to connect to the vendor via email. In that case, you can use our widget called WCMp Contact Vendor. This lets customers send mail to the vendor via message box.

>> Please note vendor registration page and the the vendor dashbaord page are seperate. A vendor can only apply for becoming a vendor via our Vendor Registration page.
Now once a vendor is registered, whenever they will login, by default they will be directed to the vendor dashbaord page.
So please create a menu in your site for the Vendor Registration page.

In My Accounts Page they will be able to see past orders and many more.

In the menu, you can only see the name of that page. Hence as you can understand the name of a menu or page can’t be changed as per user’s login status.
