ParticipantWe are using MultiVendorX Pro with the Stripe Marketplace module. Our vendor reports only seem to show the vendor commission, is it possible to show a breakdown of fees so the reporting on their vendor dashboard matches what they actually get paid after processing?

KeymasterHi there,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your feedback with us.
Currently, vendors are able to view transaction breakdown including gateway charges and commission breakdowns—within the transaction details section in their dashboard.
However we are currently working on a major revamp of our plugin, which will improve the current workflow and add entirely new features. A key addition in this upgrade will be a wallet system designed to make commission payments and transactions more streamlined and future-proof.
We hope to release the updated version soon, and we’ll keep you informed on the progress.

ParticipantHello – the stripe fees are nowhere in the transaction data. They are processing correctly in Stripe but the fees don’t show in reports, orders, payments, or anywhere. Do we need to configure something in the Stripe Marketplace Module?

KeymasterHi There,
Thank you for sharing the details.
At the moment, the vendor transaction details in MultiVendorX display only the commission and the gateway charges that you have configured within the MultiVendorX settings (as shown here: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/57423671?key=3cc3b0625bcb3baa5df05fb6cd23cf5f).
However, based on your screenshot, it appears that you are referring to the fees charged internally by Stripe. These are Stripe’s own processing fees, which vary depending on the vendor’s country, account type, payment method, and several other factors. Hence these details are no where shown on vendor dashboard.
If you have any further query please do let us know. We are there for your assistance.

ParticipantHow does the gateway charge in those MVX settings work? Is it an additional charge that gets applied or is it just for record keeping to show the fees from the processor?

ParticipantIt is strange that the Stripe transaction fee data appears in the orders when we use WooCommerce stripe test mode but when we use the live Stripe Marketplace module we dont have any of that data, even in the orders. Is there anyway to fix that?

KeymasterHello there,
Thank you for getting back to us.
Regarding the gateway charge, this is a fee applied for automated payments. As the site admin, you can choose whether this charge should be borne by the admin or by the vendor. You can find more details in our documentation here:
https://multivendorx.com/docs/knowledgebase/payment-gateway-charge/As for the Stripe fee appearing in orders with WooCommerce Stripe, I’ve shared this with our team. They will review it and ensure the updated flow is added to our revamped version.
In the meantime, if you need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know. We’re always here to help.
