How can I have the stripe payment radio button on the checkout page display expanded, currently my users are not seeing where they have to input their credit card details, attaching screenshot

There might be some theme/plugin conflict on your end. Just to be sure, kindly deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce , MultiVendorX and MultiVendorX Pro on your end and check if that solves your issue.

It’s working but because I only have stripe I want the radio button to be expanded when you come onto the page, right now al lot of my clients are not seeing it because it is closed

We have checked this on our end. If you use only one payment method in your case stripe marketplace then the radio button shows expanded on the checkout page. Kindly check the video https://watch.screencastify.com/v/3oIHtO5UwoFGPjQAYUcZ.

On your end kindly check with a default theme such as twenty twenty three or storefront.

If I enabled the stripe module and stripe connect will I see 2 payment inputs on the checkout?

No, the users will not have two payment options in the checkout if both Stripe connect and Stripe marketplace modules will be activated.

The Stripe connect connects the vendor with the admin. So that they get their commission from admin through stripe. It has nothing to do with the checkout.

On the other hand, the MVX Stripe Marketplace gives the payment option with Stripe in the checkout. So that once a user pays with Stripe marketplace, the money will get split accordingly between the vendor and the admin instantly as soon as the order is completed.

But please note that to use the stripe marketplace module in the checkout the stripe connect module needs to be enabled.

please disregard, this I found the issue. It is not clear that if you enable stripe in multiX payments you are not supposed to enable it in the woocommerce payment settings

@Nathan Wolhendler, if you have also enabled stripe from WooCommerce, then it will show the MVX stripe and WooCommerce stripe payment option at the checkout.
