When a Customer places an Order, my site creates an Order ID and emails confirmation to the Customer and Administrator. The Vendor does not get an email. The Order can be displayed by the Customer and Admin, but a Suborder is not created. The Vendor does not see the order until the Admin manually opens the order and Regenerates Suborders.
      .
      1. How can I automate the creation of the Suborder?
      .
      2. Is this issue related to the Vendor New Order email not being sent? The Vendor currently receives other messages like, “New product submitted”.
      .
      .
Here’s what I am running that may be conflicting:
      Wordpress 6.4.1
      WooCommerce 8.3.0
      WP Mail SMTP 3.10.0
      Ultimate Member 2.7.0

Hello @mealgetter.lftThanks for getting in touch with us. Our replies are inline with your queries –
      1. How can I automate the creation of the Suborder?
      >> Let me assist you with the flow of MultiVendorX.When an order of a vendor product is created on the woocommerce end, we create the corresponding sub-order.
So kindly let us know what flow you are looking for so that we can assist you accordingly.
      2. Is this issue related to the Vendor New Order email not being sent? The Vendor currently receives other messages like, “New product submitted”.
      >> There should not be an issue with the suborder generation if you have not enabled the new vendor order mail.
Now if you are not receiving vendor new order mails kindly go to admin dashboard>>WooCommerce>>Settings>>Emails, check if you have enabled the vendor new order email option (https://prnt.sc/U9RyPEJOdX0t). Now even after enabling this if you are not receiving the emails then kindly install a plugin like Email log and check if the mails are getting triggered or not.
If the mail gets triggered there in the email log plugin then contact your server admin regarding the blocking of the emails.
If you need any further assistance please let us know.

I understand the flow of MultiVendorX.When (i.e. an order of a vendor product is created on the woocommerce end, we create the corresponding sub-order).

This is the flow that I am looking for, but my system does not automatically create the corresponding sub-order. Instead, it creates a Main Order ID, puts the order on hold, and is not visible to the Vendor. The order will remain this way until the Admin manually Regenerates a Sub-Order.

I attached my Theme’s custom Functions.php and vendor-orders.php. Are these causing problems?

@mealgetter.lft It seems like there might be some theme/plugin conflict on your end and that is why the issue is happening. Just to be sure, deactivate all plugins except woocommerce and MultiVendorX on your end and also switch to some default theme such as twenty twenty three or storefront and check if the suborders are generating accordingly or not.

      Please do keep us posted.

After deactivating all plug-ins, except Woocommerce and MultivendorX, as well as using Twenty Twenty-Four Theme, I am still having the same problem (i.e. Suborders aren’t automatically created). I have used MultivendorX before and didn’t have this problem. Also, this is a fresh install on a new virtual server.
        .
I did setup WordPress to be a multisite (with Sub-directories). Can a multisite cause this issue?
        .
Thank you for your time. I really like this plugin and plan to purchase it, as soon as, I can get it functioning correctly.

I just completed another fresh install on a new virtual-server, and my system still will not auto-create sub-orders. Shall I try to install via Github, or another source?

@mealgetter.lft, Suborders should work fine in multisite environments too.
Now as you are facing issues with suborder generation, please ensure that the products you’re buying belong to a vendor, as suborders are created only for vendor products.
To test, go to the vendor dashboard, create a test product, and place an order. Alternatively, from the admin dashboard, visit the product details page, navigate to the vendor tab, assign the product to a vendor (https://tinyurl.com/yt89sx6h), and then place an order.
If the issue persists, share the site URL, temporary admin, and FTP access so we can investigate and assist you further.
While sharing the access don’t forget to mark your reply as private.

Thank you for the quick responses. The issue seems to be resolved. We didn’t figure out what caused the issue, but it was most likely a conflict with another plugin. To fix the system, we deleted the old virtual sever and associated databases, then created new ones from scratch and installed a multisite WordPress site with a fresh new theme (Astra). Before adding MultiVendorX, we installed WP Mail SMTP, Ultimate Member, IQ Block Country, and Woocommerce. Everything is working, and we have begun to customize our theme’s function.php file.

Thanks again. Your support has converted us to a premium member, and we look forward to working with you going forward.

@mealgetter.lft Just to keep you posted, do not enable the WooCommerce HPOS option for now as we have not yet added compatibility for that on our end.
Once we add support for HPOS we will keep you posted.
