Because of the inherent nature of the new MultivendorX admin dashboard where it tries to automatically save the settings as you change them, not after clicking a save button, MultivendorX attempts to update the password on the Vendors->Edit Vendor->Personal screen after each keystroke causing my vendor email account to receive one email for every single character typed into the Password box. That means I received 10 emails all at once for all 10 characters of the new password. That’s crazy! Again, I can’t be subjecting my vendors to unprofessional things like this.

I’ll have to say, I’m wondering if going ahead with MultivendorX is a good move and staying with the old WCMP for a long while would be better. There are so many of these little bugs that show MultivendorX is just not ready for a production environment. Like has any of this even gone through a testing phase? I have reported so many little bugs that should have very easily been caught if just a basic level of testing was done. I’m happy to help test and get bugs worked out, but I need this plugin to be ready for production in a few weeks and I’m seriously doubting that’s a possibility at this point while I’m continuing to find bug after bug during basic setup and testing.

We will add the fix in our next update by next week.

We have also added a fix in our GitHub.
So, after downloading the plugin from here – https://github.com/multivendorx/MultiVendorX/archive/refs/heads/main.zip, follow these steps :
      – Delete the installed MultiVendorX via wp-admin >> plugin
      – Unzip the GitHub plugin
      – Rename the folder as “dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor” and remove the master tag. Now, zip this folder again.
      – Install this plugin on your site.
      Please do keep us posted.
