      I would like to change the display of the vendors list from a vertical listing to a horizontal one across the page, with three columns.

      Hi,
      As per your requirement you have to override dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/templates/widget/vendor-list.php template by copying it to yourtheme/dc-product-vendor/widget/vendor-list.php

      Then add your custom code to change the view.
