Why is the Vendor not able to add product tags when adding a new product?

As you can see in the video , We are not having any issues from our side but not to worry. It seems like there is some error in your site caused due to plugin/theme conflict, which is causing this issue. Just to be sure, please disable all the plugins except WooCommerce and WC Marketplace for testing purposes and check again. If the issue still exists, please switch to some default theme like Twenty Sixteen and check again.
Let us know the result so we can help you out further.

Yes I can see in your video that a Vendor can select tags but they cannot add tags.

How can a Vendor add tags?

Hi Moumita,

OK did not realise that as the field says select. How can I update the field to say “Type and Select” or something to this effect so as not to confuse vendors.

Dale, currently you can’t add any text on that place. But you can override the edit product page template and add instructions at the above or below of the add tag field.

Hi,
Override templates/vendor-dashboard/product-manager/edit-product.php template by copying it to yourtheme/dc-product-vendor/vendor-dashboard/product-manager/edit-product.php

Checkout line no 304 and add text as per your requirement.
