Apart from displaying Products on the website for vendors, We would like to add a Vendor Service option wherein instead of products, services we sholud able to add.

Example: Car tire repair service, Oil change services, etc

Is it possible to use the downloadables feature as services and the product feature as products – So this way we would create two types of memberships one which can add only products and while the other which will only add downloadables?
Will this work and is there anything you can recommend to optimize this?

Hi,

Let’s assume we have two VENDOR types – 1) Stores & 2) Garages
The Stores will add their products as usual but the Garages, on the other hand, will only be able to add Servies such as oil change, brake pad replacement and spark plug replacement, etc… AKA Downloadables which we will only use for display purposes. This so-called Downloadables (Services) have no function in terms of purchase/ add to cart rather its just to display for our customers to find out which garages offer the cheapest service.

With WCMp vendor membership plugin (https://multivendorx.com/product/wcmp-vendor-membership/) you can restrict product types for various membership plans. In order to create service product type you have to use woocommerce booking plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/).
