Hello,

Most of the time, my vendor’s products are “made to order” – is there a way where the vendor can click change the state of an order to ready for pickup?

I am planning to use this click to initiate the delivery process.

Attached is the order page:

1- I need my vendors to change the state of the order to acknowledge receipt
2- when the products are personalized, I want the the vendors to be able to change the status of the order to “ready for shipment” –

Later on I will use the action for “ready for shipment” to trigger a third party to come collect the shipment

Can we add to this list – “order received”

Regarding the other part, explain in details the entire flow when you want this status to be visible?

1- client places order on an item where he says he wants his name engraved. (accomplished already with product addons and WCMP front end pro)
2- the order goes directly to “processing”
3- the vendor should be able to change the status of the order to “receipt acknowledged” meaning that he saw the order coming and he started working on it
4- once the vendor finishes the personalization (in this case the name engravement), he should change the status of of the order to “ready for pickup” – It would be helpful to have a button similar to “Mark as shipped”
5- once the order is changed to ready for pick up, i will work with the delivery company to initiate the delivery process.

As you can see by default flow, when an order is placed it goes to on hold then the vendor needs to change the status to processing.

Now, as per your requirement, this will need some good amount of custom coding at your end. Do you have a developer with you then our team can help him with the hooks and filter.
