–If we as the marketplace are VAT registered so have to charge VAT, but the vendor is not. How is it set up so we charge the 20% on the commission but the vendor does not on the item they are selling?
>>You just need to go to the admin dashboard>>MultiVendorX>>Settings>>Commissions, here set the revenue sharing mode as Admin commission and commission type as percentage and commission amount as 20. After setting up this for every product sold on the website the admin will receive 20% of that as his commission. For tax rate MultIvendorX does not decide that. You need to configure the tax rate from WooCommerce. You can refer to this doc for more information – https://woo.com/document/setting-up-taxes-in-woocommerce/
We do have a setting called commission calculation on tax (https://tinyurl.com/yuf7myca
) and by enabling this option means the tax amount will be added to the admin and vendor commission accordingly.
You can go through our doc here https://multivendorx.com/docs/knowledgebase/tax-disbursement/ for better understanding of the setting.
Also by enabling this Tax option in Disbursement under the settings submenu(https://tinyurl.com/2xc5j7e7) , the admin can let the vendor collect and manage the tax amount. In your case if you do not want vendors to receive the tax simply disable this option.
–Would it be possible to add a new menu item in the Vendor Dashboard? Under the tools menu item? I cannot for the life of me find the code that controls it. Just need a simple url, that I appreciate would need re adding on updates.
>>We do not have any ready-made code for this customisation. However, you can have a look at this doc https://multivendorx.com/docs/code-snippet/add-custom-menu-to-vendor-dashboard/ and take reference for adding a custom menu on the vendor dashboard.

December 5, 2023 at 6:37 PM in reply to: error when updating MX pro to the latest version, and several MX inlets are not #214857Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@kevajo Apologies for any confusion caused by the custom team’s communication. If the issue were related to a core functionality, we would certainly provide assistance. However, since the problem is associated with a custom menu implemented through specific code, it’s essential to contact our custom team for further support. I’ve communicated this to the team, but please reach out to them once again, and they will assist you accordingly.
December 5, 2023 at 6:28 PM in reply to: error when updating MX pro to the latest version, and several MX inlets are not #214855Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@kevajo The tab you’re referring to is not integrated into our core plugin, so we are unable to assist with issues related to it. Please review the custom code you’ve implemented to add the custom menu on your end and debug the issue accordingly.

Sangita Support SquadKeymasterIn the standard process, once a vendor is logged in and has received approval from the admin, they won’t be redirected to the store setup wizard. Instead, they will directly access the vendor dashboard. The redirection to the store setup wizard will occur only once, following the initial login by the vendor.
However, If you want to change the default flow for the vendor store set up on your end then you will have to achieve that via adding custom code on your end.
Also I have informed the dev team about the modification you are looking for in the store setup flow. They will look into this and take further decisions regarding the same. You can keep track of the enhancement from here https://github.com/multivendorx/MultiVendorX/issues/585.
Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Braxton Moody Thank you for keeping us informed.

December 5, 2023 at 3:52 PM in reply to: Free Trial setup for my subscription but my client was just billed? #214836Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Nathan Wolhendler Sorry to hear that you have faced an issue on your end.
But as shared earlier, the details (sign up fee, trial period etc.) set in the MultiVendorX membership plan is followed by the payment gateway using which the user is subscribing. So there should not be any such issue that you are facing on your end. There must be some element or code on your end for which you are facing this issue.
However, just to be fully sure- we have checked the same flow shared by you on our end. But for a recurring plan with a free trail the users are only getting charged the sign up fee at the time of registration.
So kindly check again carefully on your end.December 5, 2023 at 3:50 PM in reply to: error when updating MX pro to the latest version, and several MX inlets are not #214835Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@kevajo We will definitely keep you informed once we implement the fix in our core plugin and release the update.
