Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Picflick Sorry for the confusion earlier.
Kindly confirm if you are looking for the below mentioned flow
The vendors registering with a subscription plan will get registered as pending vendors and after the thank you page they will get redirected to some other page instead of the vendor dashboard.Sangita Support SquadKeymasterAs the default flow doesn’t support this, hence in order to add the same flow on your end, you’ll need to add custom code on your own.
Please keep in mind that the specific changes you’re looking for would involve a significant amount of custom code, which is beyond what our team can provide.
Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Picflick Our replies are inline with your queries –
1st question) Emails are not being sent (https://ibb.co/BCr25SM). Do you know why?
>>We have shared earlier that all the emails are triggered accordingly after adding the code on our end.
Now as you are facing issues with the emails, kindly create a staging site that should be an exact replica of your live site and share the access with us so that we can check the issue on your end.
2nd question) Look at the flow here https://www.loom.com/share/1bf335d2f86241fca59e318618218b14?sid=c9b862d7-ecc6-4b86-9efa-1c7caa92b9e8 The vendor is logged in and waiting for their subscription to be approved (on the waiting approval dashboard page). Once the admin approves their subscription the vendor will refresh their browser or navigate to it and it does not prompt them to do set up wizard
>> As mentioned in our earlier reply, if the vendor is logged in already after admin’s approval they will not get redirected to the store setup wizard instead they will get access to the vendor dashboard.
The store setup redirection will work only once after first log in from the vendors.
This is the default flow.Sangita Support SquadKeymasterKindly share with us a little piece of information if you are testing this for logged in users or non logged in users.
Because as per our default flow we do not redirect a user to the vendor dashboard until they become a vendor on the website.
Also according to the membership flow, after successful completion of the purchase of the plan the user becomes a vendor and then gets redirected to the vendor dashboard.
We will wait for your reply.November 2, 2023 at 12:01 PM in reply to: Users signing up for subscription are coming in as customers instead of vendors #203416Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Nathan Wolhendler We have checked the free trial with the currently released version on your site and it is working fine. We have already mentioned that here https://multivendorx.com/support-forum/topic/free-trial-setup-for-my-subscription-but-my-client-was-just-billed/.
Also we have checked the free trial with the plugin version that we have shared with you and there also the trial is working fine. Kindly check the video https://watch.screencastify.com/v/Gep6B8HgKGK0l9XtGovP.
Sangita Support SquadKeymasterHello @Nathan Wolhendler Our replies are inline with your queries –
1. When I update a subscription price or trial period what happens to existing subscribers?
>>The trial period or subscription price update will not get reflected for the existing subscribers.
The subscription fee and free trial of the plan with which they have subscribed will work for them accordingly.2. When I updated the plugin the existing users do not have the cancel subscription button?
>>We have checked this on our end. The vendors do have the cancel button on their dashboard (https://prnt.sc/2YAINcY8PllH) to cancel the subscription.
So some other conflict might be there. Please check whether there is any plugin/theme issue.Sangita Support SquadKeymasterIts been long and we have not heard back from you. Sangita Support SquadKeymaster@Picflick For recurring subscription plans the user needs to pay with either Stripe marketplace or paypal standard payments (https://prnt.sc/Kx-nTjtRi0XT).
Now in your case as you want your users to pay with PayPal hence from the backend you need to add the option of PayPal Standard (https://prnt.sc/ZaQ_7C8qAuVu). To have this option you need to add the below code in your functions.php file of your current active theme –add_filter( 'woocommerce_should_load_paypal_standard', '__return_true' );
CopyWe have checked the flow of registering for a recurring plan with paypal standards and the flow is working fine. Kindly check the video https://drive.google.com/file/d/10pYiShNGF5gJsMlKnzjyCq2TL3eAWPpZ/view?usp=sharing.
From your shared screenshot it is evident that you are giving your vendors a trial period and also you are not charging any sign up fee. That is why no payment method is appearing on the checkout page.
Kindly follow the above video and configure the same on your end. If you still face issue please let us know. -
